Free Family Event August 8th in Shelburne

Hey Vermonters,

Dan from Vermont Teddy Bear here. I'm posting this for families looking for something fun to do in early August. Vermont Teddy Bear and Vermont Flannel are hosting a joint event.

During the day there are free activities like face painting, food vendors, a bounce house & obstacle course. There's also mini golf and a bubble show along with other games. That's from 11am to 3pm and it's free.

Later in the evening there is a drone show, a costume contest, a DJ, and a bar.

Should be fun for the whole family.

45 Years of Vermont Teddy Bears, Handcrafted. 🧸❤️

Long before our Vermont factory many of our talented seamstresses handcrafted Bears from their own homes—stitching each one with the same care, attention, and love that defines us today.

Hope you enjoy the throwback!

Vermont Teddy Bear brand subreddit

Hi all

My name is Dan and I work for Vermont Teddy Bear. I wanted to post here to let you know I created r/vermontteddybear a few months back. I'm posting more official stuff there and trying to build a community. I'd love it if you all joined our sub. I have some cool stuff planned like an AMA with our Brand Director who is responsible for almost all the creative process.

Thanks,

Dan

🐻✨ A little throwback Thursday to where so many memories began.

Long before social media, selfies, and smartphones, families were stopping by The Vermont Teddy Bear Common to discover how our Bears were made and bring home a lifelong friend.

For 45 years, it's been our honor to create smiles, hugs, and traditions that span generations. Here's to the people, the Bears, and the memories that made us who we are.

Do you remember visiting The Vermont Teddy Bear Common? We'd love to hear your favorite memory in the comments.

Tales from our Bear Hospital - a teddy bear from 1984!

This sweet patient just checked into our Bear Hospital for a little TLC after decades of love. Dr. Pam discovered he’s almost as old as Vermont Teddy Bear itself — complete with a vintage 1984 tag, old-school fur nose, and fuzzy paw pads from a different era of Bear-making.

The best part? Thanks to our Guaranteed for Life® promise, he’s getting fixed up and ready for many more years of hugs.

We’re celebrating 45 years this year, and we wanted to share a little secret: the best way to date your bear is to look at its tag!

From the vintage 1984 copyright to the modern blue labels with the iconic paw print, every stitch tells a story. Some of our favorites feature special messages or unique stripes that you might have missed.

Check out the video to see the evolution of our branding. Which one is your favorite?
