This sounds bad.

I got my mixer back after a move and it sounds WRONG now. The speed was also on a number when I got it unplugged, not set to off. I don't know what happened. I'd appreciate any input!

This is a bowl lift Pro 5 Plus. After I used it, I thought maybe a screw got loose so I tightened all the screws (and probably messed up the bowl clearance in the process).

Carpenter Bee Advice

ISO advice on when to treat carpenter bee holes with poison, when to fill the holes, and when to treat the wood

Carpenter bee holes were discovered in late March. A company put poison dust in the deck holes in early April. They said to wait two months before plugging the holes so the bees don't drill new ones.

I moved in May and saw carpenter bees flying around the deck and likely new holes. I also saw holes in the wooden fence that were likely untreated with poison.

I hung up two paper bags around the deck as a fake wasp nest. I haven't seen the bees around the deck since.

It's now June. We have filled all holes ourselves with a spray.

When should we fill the holes and treat the wood? Now, or do we need to wait longer? If longer, when?

ISO Living Room Setup Advice

Any recs for setting up this open living room with a TV and furniture? It is long and partially split up by a pillar. The entrance opens up immediately into the room, and the coat closet is across the room. There is molding on the walls, too. We're mostly starting from scratch with furniture, so we are open to suggestions for furniture types. We have a 48" TV. There is already a TV mount above the fireplace, but we're not stuck on putting the TV there since it wouldn't be eye level. We're not looking to make part of the room an office or play area. Thanks for any advice!
