Suspected kidney disease

Looking for advice! I have two cats both turn 17 this summer and im pretty sure the female has kidney disease and will be taking her to the vet on monday. She has seizures that can sometimes be brought on by stress so we keep vet visits to a minimum. She has bad teeth and she was seen about a year ago for her teeth but was not able to have treatment because of the seizures. She is not medicated for the seizures because she only has 1-2 a year. She started refusing dry food so we started feeding more wet food. She does eat too quickly and will throw up about 2-3 times a week. She started loosing weight so I thought it was related to the refusal to eat dry kibble, teeth issues and/or the random puking. She also hides under the bed after eating which now i think is related. We went on a three day trip and my sister forgot to refill their waters and one of the water bowls is the dogs bowl so its huge. The big water bowl and one of the small ones were empty (the water bowl beside their food was still half full because they dont like that one) and I immediately realized its her drinking all the water. Her appetite is normal and i have not seen her drinking more water than normal but i did notice more pee in the litter box over the past month. I am so upset I didnt catch this sooner. Im worried about her treatment options and if its even worth it with how old she is and how easily she gets stressed. She made it this long with her seizures and im terrified.

Fell off

I have been fighting the binge eating for years and had worked so hard and lost 15lbs over the past year. I was recently diagnosed with adhd and thats mostly what is the driving force behind my binge eating because when life gets overwhelming and I cant control my thoughts and emotions because of my adhd, I eat. My son is home for the summer, I work from home. I was just diagnosed with adhd so im stressed trying to test meds and finally manage it and ive gained back 7 lbs 😭. Ugh I just know you all can relate so im posting here because when I talk about this with friends and family noone can relate.

Need recommendations

I have two cats that are both 17. The male is in amazing shape and his teeth are ok. The female could gain some weight and her teeth are bad. She cannot be put under anesthesia due to seizures. We currently feed tiki cat high protein dry food and wet food for morning and dinner. The dry food is mostly for the male. He lost a lot of weight because he would eat too much and puke up his food. The high protein dry food fixed this and he gained everything back and no longer pukes.

Now for the female and the male as his teeth worsen as i know they will as he ages more. I started feeding wet food more often but we have issues with the female where when I consistently feed her wet food she will literally refuse to eat dry food and starve herself to the point of puking up stomach acid. This happens if I miss a feeding or too much time passes between feedings. I need a soft food that can sit in the bowl so she has something to nibble on at all times. We tried freeze dried food and she loved it but would gobble it up and started puking every time she ate it doesnt matter the portion size. I tried the fresh pet refrigerated food too and they would puke sometimes from eating too much of it. I may try this option again. I cannot find any other foods. I have found air dried and may try that next but want to check here first. Plus if its seafood based as the dog gets jealous of the cats food but has a sensitive stomach and chicken makes her itchy.
