I managed to buy the B50 earlier and am happy so far! Installed into Minisforum MS-02 Ultra. At the moment bypassing the whole GPU from Proxmox to either Windows 11 for Intel AI Playground and some games or to Ubuntu Server to use for llama.cpp. Pretty amazed by it's performance, it easily handles gemma-4-E2B-it, Qwen3-8B and other small-ish models. Ready to answer any questions.
Got B50 today for Minisforum MS-02 Ultra. Bypassing the whole GPU to Windows VM in Proxmox to try Intel AI Playground and some games I used to play when I was young, Works flawlessly! Planning to use it for local AI later.
Recently got a Minisforum MS-02 Ultra with Intel Core Ultra 5 235HX as a gift! It has been running for almost a week now and it is great.
Please ignore NVME that is not screwed, waiting for an extender from 2230 to 2280.
Installed a cheap Intel X520 Dual SFP+ card and Proxmox VE 9. 32GB of RAM were transferred from another MiniPC.
Running Kubernetes and Postgres clusters, and several LXCs like Jellyfix, InfluxDB, Telegraf, PiHole, Valkey node, Pegaprox. Kubernetes runs Rook Ceph cluster, Cilium, ECK and Prometheus stacks, ArgoCD and a personal project.
CPU runs at 5-6% at all times.
Was ordered in the beginning of June and 1week later it is here. Got base version with 235HX. Planning to install Proxmox (2nd node) and deploy a proper Kubernetes cluster.
I have upgraded from gen3 to gen4 and it stopped working. When I turn the switch on, nothing happens, the socket is connected to O and it does not work. Does anyone here have an idea what might be wrong?
