The last week I was growing more and more annoyed with the game because all the AI cars seemed to zoom away from me even on tourist difficulty and I went insane trying to do the danger sign event.

Now I was getting stuck on the seasonal Speed Trap, even my Supra only going 190kmh. While googling around I found a youtuber who was losing all his videos and later found out his shoulder button didn't register 100% anymore, so I went and checked mine and lo and behold, my left one only went to 70% and my right one stopped at 65%.

If you feel you are getting left behind no matter the car, maybe try out an online controller test to check if it's your hardware.
