I just found out my medi-cal anthem blue cross coverage has been ended for months. When I try to renew it denies me. I don’t know what to do… I barely make enough to live on but somehow I don’t qualify ? Is there another option I can go ? Im 24 and my parents have no info for me , don’t know anything about this stuff .. and all I have is my medical card. It’s so hard getting through to a real person to talk about options on the phone and they give me numbers that don’t even apply to my case. I can’t afford health insurance out of pocket… but come tax season I’m going to be punished for not having it. I don’t know where to go and what to do and I’m pretty sure I have strep throat and I can’t even go anywhere to get it treated because I wouldn’t be able to pay out of pocket. If anyone can help me please I’m desperate to just have health insurance I can afford.

So my bestie put in a two week time off request back in mid march / early April for shambs. They didn’t say it was for a festival but for a spiritual retreat (which not far off) so that it would hopefully help with them approving it since that’s considered a type of religion. The store that they work at hasn’t treated their workers with respect in the past and the manager that denied it is constantly misgendering and is just rude a lot of the times. Mind you my friend has not gotten a single time off request accepted the whole time they’ve worked there and they constantly get left alone even on their 2nd/3rd day with the company. We’re willing to do anything to get this time off approved because they deserve to go and have a much needed vacation , especially since this is the last year we’re going for a while. I’m curious if anyone knows anything about forging doctor’s notes ?? Or any good reasons/ ideas of things that they can’t deny ?? WERE DESPERATE (we live in Cali btw)
