Is moving to London the best move for moi?

I'm not sure what sage Reddit advice I'm expecting but hoping the algorithm Gods bring me something to help reason out my situation.

I graduated with a great degree in Paris but since I didn't speak French I was looking for jobs outside France. Got pretty much a dream job in Dublin and given the market conditions I immediately said yes

I love my job. I hate Dublin. My social life would be in shambles but for the fact that it is non-existant. I am not very social but have never struggled this much to make freinds. I also love my space and peace and the shift back to sharing an apartment has been tough. Add on how difficult it is to get anywhere in Dublin to participate in an activity, or attend am event. Plus the crazy cost of travelling when you consider booking a hotel for a single person! I am at my wits end and ready to give up.

I think I have the opportunity to move to London within this job and by all accounts (actual friends and family living there, and Reddit threads) it seems this can only be a positive move, right?

The major downsides for London are the cost of living, reliance on public transport and weather. To which I say it's better than it is here, I would rather depend on a system that actually works and again it's better than it is here.

Plus I have an existing social network in London.

Open to literally any and all opinions from Anyone because I have thought over every angle and this is the only option that seems to spark any joy

Help me plan the perfect long weekend in Dublin!

I moved to Dublin about a year ago but on account of the initial settling down period and subsequent bad weather, I haven't really gone around to see much of what Dublin has to offer so far.

All the travel options to the rest of Ireland seem too expensive for this bank holiday weekend so hit me with your suggestions of things I absolutely must do in Dublin!

Thanks and enjoy the weekend!

Suggest a book for a woman in her late 20s who feels lost, discontent, left behind

Not asking for a friend, and pretty much the title. Fiction or non-fiction. Just feeling like something is missing in life, and I don't know what. Others my age seems to be miles ahead, in long term happy relationships, living in cities where they've settled in and have a thriving social life. Only upside in my life seems to be that I like my job and it pays decently.

Want to replace my moisturiser and add something for my hair. Any recommendations? UK/France

Hello, I'm trying to update my skin and hair care routine and appreciate any recommendations.

I'm 27, brown - skinned, have an oily Tzone, frizzy curly hair.

My current routine is -

Dermatologist recommended face wash for acne,

Body shop face cream in the summer and Fragonard face cream in the winter,

La Roche Posay Anthelios sunscreen

I feel the moisturisers are good, nothing special. I don't know if my products need to be doing anything else for me

Hair routine is Shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner for 2b thin hair which remains frizzy no matter the amount of conditioner/gel I use. Not fond of any brands in particular so I'm open to anything, I recently saw an HA hair spray that piqued my interest.

27F, never dated around and planning on moving countries again soon. Am I doomed?

Pretty much all in the title lol but nonetheless I'll elaborate.

I've basically never been on any dates, had bfs, slept with anyone, etc. I've always found reasons to avoid this, very successfully I might add. Some of the reasons I gave myself were warranted, others not.

But now I'm finally in a place where I want to go on dates I just don't have the skills or know how to get started.

Am I doomed? What am I even going to say to someone on a date? "Yeah, sorry, this is about to be my first kiss ever?!" Plus I plan on moving again soon so anything that could happen would be short-lived.

Definitely planning on speaking to a therapist about this but any advice from the Reddit sages will be appreciated as well.

Need a puzzle book that's engrossing and uses my brain

Not sure if this is the right sub but I love murder mysteries and recently saw the 'Murder at the Millpond' book at my neighbours. It seems interesting but a bit basic. Any recommendations for similar but also maybe more challenging puzzle books?

Crappiest Speed Ever!

Tested the wifi speed at my relatives place when visiting today. They were saying they take the 'highest plan' which was basically 1gbps but they often have lags and haziness in video calls. They live alone and don't understand or use much internet so they asked for my help to see if I can resolve it. I ran a speed test and this is what it showed! They have had the same connection since before covid. God knows for how long they have been putting up with such God awful speeds while paying more than 4k a month
