Is this legal?

Hi Im 21 F working in dubai as fresher, I worked in this company for 6.3 months and decided to resign because they didnt give 6 months tips from dec 15 til June 15 and delayed salary for 3-4 weeks even tho they forced staff to work for 15 days and 15 days unpaid leave and some of the staff are sent for vacation until further notice and terminated ,,, theyre telling me I need to pay 3000 aed for training cost (when for that 6 months I worked Theres no certification or formal training given only the day to day basis of work)
And theyre saying the visa is also part of it that I need to pay.

What need to do about this changing employment???

Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding changing employers here in Dubai.
I'm currently under an employment visa with a hotel. I've already completed my probation period, but I want to resign because the work environment has become very toxic. On top of that, the company has been sending employees on unpaid leave or vacation until further notice, some staff are only receiving half their salary, and both salaries and tips have been delayed.
Today I attended an interview and a trial shift with another company, and they told me they want to hire me as soon as possible. However, I haven't submitted my resignation to my current employer yet, and I haven't signed any job offer or employment contract with the new employer either. The new employer is a family-owned business.
My plan was to resign immediately and let my current employer cancel my visa, but now I'm unsure about the correct order of things.
Should I:
Sign the job offer/contract with the new employer first, then submit my resignation?

Or resign first, wait for my visa to be cancelled, and only then sign the new contract?

I'm worried about resigning without having anything in writing from the new employer, but I also don't know if it's okay to sign a new contract before my current visa is cancelled.
Has anyone in the UAE gone through a similar situation? What's the safest approach? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

is verbal harrastment is really silenced here in Dubai?

Hi Im 21 F, just 6 months now being in dubai and Im working in restaurant as waitress im working in this company for 5 months now and its fine dining also

Today at work, I experienced what I believe is inappropriate behavior from a colleague.

I was wearing my regular uniform (long-sleeve top and pants). My pants are a bit fitted, but still part of the official uniform. A male colleague told me:
“You should change your pants, you’re showing too much.”

This same colleague has repeatedly asked me out even after I have clearly said no multiple times. He keeps insisting and asking why I won’t accept his offer. He has also said things like “let’s go out as friends” and offered to provide money or support, but not in a relationship and wanting it to be kept secret.

I reported this to HR, but they told me to take his comments as a “compliment” and that it is not harassment because this is Dubai. They also said I am “too weak to handle F&B industry” and that I don’t belong in the industry if I react this way.

They also said the issue is because I am not on good terms with him, and that if other colleagues were friendly with me, the same comments would be considered jokes and not harassment. They don’t believe my complaint because he has worked here since the restaurant opened and has had no previous complaints.

I feel uncomfortable and dismissed, and I’m not sure what to do next. Has anyone dealt with something similar in UAE workplaces?
