Wedding reception venue recommendations in Tempe?

Hi there! I'm looking for a reception venue for me and my Fiance for early next year. If you have an suggestions, let me know! I know this is a specific list, but we've wasted a lot of time getting close to signing a contract a few times only for the venue to then note that no alcohol is allowed, or no candles are allowed, etc. So I'm just putting it all out there now. We are a pretty easy going couple, so it doesn't need to be state of the art.

Here are our requirements.

  • fits 60 people
  • allows outside vendors
  • allows beer and wine (we have a licensed bartender to serve if needed)
  • allows music
  • allows candles
  • under $3500
  • has at least 2 bathrooms
  • allows glass
  • within 20 mins of Tempe AZ

Thank you for your time!! We were going to do South Mountain park, but they don't allow glass, candles, or wine (but allow beer for some reason?).

How to healthily lose weight?

I havent been in a flare for over a year now (YAY!!!). However, I went on so many rounds of steroids and was eating so much then, that I gained weight. And it’s been slowly creeping up since I got out of my flare, probably because I’m actually absorbing my food now.

Ive also turned 30. does anyone have tips for losing weight while not triggering a flareup? My medicine (remicade) works great, I can eat most things in moderation. I asked my doctor and he said “Most of my patients rejoice when they gain weight.” Which is fair, but I’m overweight, and before my crohns developed, I was on the higher end of a healthy weight. I’m sure the yoyo Weight gain then loss then gain x100 has not helped my metabolism, along with getting older.

obviously, I don’t think a GLP-1 would be good for me. But my wedding is next year and I’d love to lose 15-20lbs.

How would you design an arrangement based off of Spain, Italy, or Germany?

context: Me and my fiancee have travelled a lot, and for our February wedding, we were going to have a mixture of fake and real flowers. We've been to Keukenhoff in the Netherlands together, so I thought it would be cute if we had centerpieces based off some locations we've been to. (Obviously, the Netherlands bouquet would be tulips!) We've also been to Japan, so I thought an Ikebana style arrangement would be super fitting. We've travelled to lots of other places too, what would your ideas be?

- Seville
- Brussels
- Cologne Germany
- Rome, Florence, Venice
- Mexico ( baja Cali specifically)

Businesses hiring?

I am looking for a part or full time job in Chandler. I'm looking for something that maybe wouldn't be listed on LinkedIn or Indeed (since I've already scoured there).

- bachelor's in Business Management

- 6+ years in sales

- customer service skills, excellent on the phone

- no criminal record

- need reliable access to a bathroom (so not a landscaping job or something like that)

- currently cleaning people's homes

- I also cook and can do homemaker tasks like get groceries, dry cleaning, laundry etc. (I used to do home management for a couple that was struggling with depression)

($14k) floral/multicolor veils and overskirts under $100?

I Got a dress for $250! But my vision was a floral, multicolor dress. So I was thinking of adding some appliqué onto it, and matching it with the veil. OR getting an overskirt! Here’s some ideas that I’ve found, but the veils and over skirts are a bit pricey for me… any ideas? Suggestions? I halfhazardly drew an idea of leaves coming down from the waist. I have decent sewing skills and would be willing to pay to have things added on.
