90min livestream for the new diecast limited edition TB3.

After a couple of salty posts I'm now feeling much more confident about this release. It seems they have based it as much as possible on the S1 Countdown/flying model, and the colour looks much better 'live' in the video.

The white 3s seem to be two for right to left (like in the countdown) and one for left to right (as in most shots you see it flying in space).

It stands just a little taller than TB1, and is apparently pretty much in scale with TB2.

Months away yet, but looking better than I feared.

Also I think this was one of the best vids they've done, with people most directly involved talking about the design and evolution of the model with cutaways etc. much more sophisticated.

The boot loop has killed the phone. It was either get a new phone or mess about with a custom OS, so I've ordered a 9a. Well done google, you got me in the end.

Anyway, would anyone know if the free saver storage works by just having the phone registered to my google account, or do the photos always need to be backed up from the phone itself?

If its the latter, what is the best way of feeding photos from my 9a to the 4a to back them up?

Tried the gnome Nvidia iso, puzzlingly didn't seem to have a way to adjust backgrounds to fit the screen rather than fill them.

Tried the KDE version, won't even connect to the WiFi, doesn't have the secret or something. Apparently I have to set up KDE wallet, which isn't part of the setup instructions. The wallet/manager doesn't seem to accept anything.

Skip connecting to internet, set up user account.

Come back to it a day later to try a fix, won't even let me sign in with pikaos user account (which should be blank) or my user account.

So far, my expected Linux experience.
