Dock diving or shampoo?
I certain kind of person gets this cartoon. And even more so if you have an opinion!

Found this in my phone charger area after my wife cleaned out some stuff from the front passenger seat.
She claims ignorance.
What is it? Where did it come from?
And how does it go back?
Shinji (registry name Regalo Nutty But Nice) hit a new FastCAT PR on 8/7, just got the action sequence photos. It's cool to see him get fully airborne in the action sequence. And the bits of torn up turf on his paws.
He did 100 yards in 6.16 seconds = 33.21 mph / 53.45 kph.
Since he's still a yearling, his numbers have improved a lot in the last 3 months.
Shinji did his second dog show in his life, 3 days in a row, first time with me handling, 12-18 month class. He did pretty well (2 Winners Dog, 1 Reserve Winner), but the poor pup is ready to chillax.
Shinji is now 16 months old and a bit of a big boy, but this when he was just a wee little guy.
Every few months Shinji meets his littermates at a local event, usually lure coursing. But today they met at a dog show, which had a training paddock nearby.
We didn't register Star Spangled Scurry fast enough to get the medallion (we still did it), so we want to make sure we don't miss the next one.
Anyone have any info on when / what the next likely activity is?
A few weeks ago, I submitted my FITB application along with a Star Spangled Scurry log (it was after they ran out of medallions) and haven't heard anything since.
I paid the application fee for FITB.
How can I get a status update?
A professional photographer at our local dog park took pictures of Shinji and shared them with us.
The 2nd photo looks diabolical.
Shinji first did dock diving in 2025, when he was just 3-5 months old. It's been a year, and this is his first lesson of the new season.
FastCAT of Regalo Nutty But Nice "Shinji".
Greyhound, 15 months old.
15 months old now, starting to fill out from being a lanky teenager.
How does one actually register for the Star Spangled Scurry?
I see the description on this page:
https://www.akc.org/sports/akc-family-dog-program/akc-fit-dog/fit-dog-2026-star-spangled-scurry-5k/
But where does one actually sign up, register, and pay the $20?
He's supposed to go out for his morning routine, which he's usually insistent about, but today's early morning sun is leaving him lazy and sleep.
USA beat Paraguay 4-1 in the World Cup. Leaving 3rd place finishing, rank 34 Paraguay to go against top 10 (or was) ranked Germany.
Paraguay just beat Germany, kicking them out of the tournament.
So by relative comparison, USA is better at soccer than Germany.
What does this mean to Americans, Germans, and the future?
Shinji just got his BCAT today for earning 150 points in FastCAT.
He’ll turn 15 months next week.
14 months old, two runs on two different days, two different judges.
This is day 1, 750 yards, 12 turns, in 44 seconds.
Average speed of 34.8 mph / 56 kph including the turns.
My dog passed his two JC tests this weekend to earn his JC title.
Obviously, it won't show up in the AKC database for a while.
To use his JC title as part of his FITB submission, do I have to wait until it appears in the AkC database?
Or can I submit photos of his ribbons as part of the FITB application before the JC title shows up?
