Ethiopian restaurant recommendations

I’ve been wanting to try Ethiopian food for a long time and I’m planning to finally try it tomorrow. However, it’s a cuisine that’s not commonly talked about, which is making it difficult for me to choose a restaurant.

Two dishes I’ve seen that I really want to try are sega wot and doro wot. I also enjoy lentil dishes and I’ve heard they’re common in Ethiopian cuisine.

Any area of the GTA works. A hole in the wall spot works also. aesthetic or presentation of the place doesn’t matter much, as long as the food tastes great lol.

Never buying reduced price meat again. Told by no frills I’m taking a risk of spoiled meat when buying reduced price meat.

I bought chicken at my nearby no frills for reduced price. I bought it yesterday and it’s still dated till tomorrow. I opened it today and it smelt slightly off and looked off as well.

I try bringing it back to my no frills for a refund and I’m told that reduced price items are final sale. I try asking for an exception because I didn’t know reduced price means final sale also. From my experience, you’re normally told when something is final sale before purchasing. However, I just take the loss and realize I was maybe at fault because reduced almost means clearance basically.

However, what I was told just annoyed me. They told me that I’m basically taking the risk of buying spoiled meat when it’s reduced price. Well, why isn’t the store taking the risk of selling spoiled meat to the customer?

Are groceries more expensive in the west coast compared to Ontario?

I live in the GTA but sometimes I’ll also look at the no frills or superstore flyer for BC to see if there’s any good deals I could price match at my Freshco. A lot of the same items will be on sale but I’ve noticed it’s common for the west coast flyer to have slightly higher prices. Anyone know why this is?

Anyone else not receive their grade for an S1 course?

I took ADMS 3351 S1 this summer. The final exam was on June 17, 4 weeks ago. However, the grades still haven’t been uploaded.

I emailed the professor, he said he submitted the grades a week after the exam. I called student services and they said to email the registrar office.

To anyone else who took an S1 course, have you received your grade yet?
