Experiences having dinning services as on-campus job

I was placed into dining for my first year job placement, and I genuinely don’t know what to expect 😭 I’m wondering how long the average shift is/what they expect us to do. I said I didn’t want to be out in public so will I just be cleaning?

After 10+ visits to TJMaxx, Marshall’s and HomeGoods, I found the planner!

When I first saw the planner posted on here, I embarked on a mission. I live in a small city in the second smallest state, so honestly I lost hope after visiting so many times. I’m also leaving for an out of country trip Friday so I almost accepted my defeat.

Then today, I coincidently had to visit a store near a TJMaxx. When I entered, I first checked the book display near the checkout, and I find the new notebook (haven’t seen anyone post this design yet), and I thought “I know they’re here, I can feel it”. I speed walk over to stationary isle, and there they were. 3 planners parked together. I couldn’t believe my eyes, and I was internally screaming with joy. Walked out the door with the biggest smile ever.

I bid farewell to the Miffy chase for a month during my trip (but I am going to the Seoul Miffy store hehe), and then I’m off to college. We shall see if the Miffy hunt continues thereafter.

TDLR: An overjoyed person finding the coveted planner 😆

Thanks for reading!

Recomendations for facial/head spas

Looking for recommendations for facial/head spas around the Gangnam or surrounding area. I’m 18F going to Korea to visit relatives, and I want to rejuvenate myself before heading off to college! I have acne scars/acne-prone skin, so facials that target this would be greatly appreciated!

International traveling for month to Korea on T-mobile locked IPhone

My family is planning to take a vacation to South Korea for about a month starting July 17th. We all have IPhone 16s and are currently under the Go5G Next plan, and unfortunately we are SIM locked.

I saw on the website that we’ll have unlimited data, albeit it will be slow, but are there any strings attached to it? Will we have to purchase a separate international plan? If there are no strings, how do we make sure we don’t get charged extra while abroad?

Thank you so much!

Gayo daejeon tickets on Klook

Hi! I bought SBS Summer Gayo Daejeon tickets on Klook for August 9th, and I’m wondering if anyone here has experience using Klook as a platform, or has actually gone to the event in years prior. I’d love to hear how it went!

Thank you so much!

Marshall’s and HomeGoods hall!

Got the notebooks at Marshall’s and the mugs at HomeGoods! Wasn’t expecting the fuzziness of the notebooks or the keychain on the mug 😆

Edit: meant to write “haul” and not “hall” whoops 😅

How to buy SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer tickets?

Does anyone here have experience purchasing/going to a Gayo Daejeon event? I’ll be in Korea during this year’s date and I’d love to go see it!

I’m pretty sure (from what I read) foreigner tickets are available on NOL WORLD, but I can’t seem to find when they’re being posted.

Any help is appreciated!

Experience with music lesson course?

I’m an incoming freshman, and I saw that there’s an option to take music lessons as a course. Has anyone had any experience taking these lessons? Would they be feasible to take in my first year?

Thank you!

Singing the national anthem at graduation - feedback appreciated!

Hello! I was chosen to sing the national anthem at my high school graduation, and I was wondering if anyone here could give me tips on how to improve! I sadly don’t have a vocal coach, and the big day is in about 2 weeks (May 29th). Very scared but hoping it goes well!

I’m mostly wondering about how to improve my support/improve my tone.

Thank you!

If anyone has taken them, how are the professors/are they worthwhile in your opinion? I’d like to take a language in college and I’ve done Spanish the longest so leaning towards that
