We actually really needed one of these!!

The ETV was $89 boooooo but it’s okay, still much more affordable than going and ordering fully out of pocket!

HUGE win for this breast pumping mom!!

If you’re a breast pumping mom you know how exciting this would be lol. Lowkey I want to cry LOL but that’s just being dramatic but I am so excited!!! Our family is one income currently as my husband and I wanted to focus on me being able to be home for the first few years of our newborns life like I was able to with our first! I recently purchased the paruu p16 pump and used it for the first time last night and I only got drops which sucks bc it was $55 with my Amazon baby registry completion discount. Isn’t terrible for most but funds are of course limited for us. I got invited to Vine on last month mid July! So this was so exciting for me!!!!! So it felt like I didn’t fully waste money since this evens out lol. I’m gonna keep trying the p16 to see if I can get it to work with me but now I’m feeling better!

I got the motif duo through insurance with this pregnancy but that output was literally nothing. With my first I got the spectra s2 which is still amazing and I use but I’ll be doing my first half day out of town without my baby and this is the first successful exclusively breastfeeding journey I’ve had as with my first I had to combo feed (and even triple fed for five months!) so keeping my supply is a huge deal for me!

If you’re a breast pumping mom, you know! Just so excited! My top score on vine so far and it’s $0 ETV!

Where’s your ETV at for the year?

I’m so curious where everyone is at for the year! Wanted to do a poll because these are fun lol. If you want, comment if you are under or over your budget 😂🎉

I tried again…!

After a full night of rest I decided to attempt the rabbit again, this time with a change of shape for simplicity. I was given a lot of advice about trying again and not giving up so I wanted to execute this in an easier shape successfully before moving onto my original super three dimensional idea that I posted yesterday.

This community has been so fun and welcoming, thank you for cheering me on and I hope you enjoy Bunny #2 (no name yet), he’s a lot sweeter looking than lumpy from yesterday 😅😭😂

Fabric: regular quilting cotton from Joannes and felt
Pattern: none

It always starts out fun and ends a disaster (extreme newbie warning)

So my daughter LOVES bunnies and the color purple. We are also learning fruits and veggies right now so “boo-berry” fabric was choice for this attempted mess. I didn’t have a pattern (if you have recommendations please share! We don’t have a printer so it’s better if it’s something that I can just purchase and cut up!) BUT I did my best to mentally visualize and execute my idea. The part I got stuck on was the bottom, and obviously it looks a fright.

Bunny now looks like Mike Wizowski because I gave up by the time I got to the head. The ears are still cut up and on my sewing box but I’m too depressed to continue today 🥲

I have been a long time lurker in this sub and love seeing everyone’s beautiful pieces. I have never taken a class or been taught besides threading the needle and setting up the machine for basic use 😂

I guess I posted this in hopes someone could share stuffed animal experience and maybe provide some pointers. I’m really trying and I would love to do anything that will help reduce my screentime. I miss not being so glued to my phone.

Thanks for reading ♥️

Edit/Update: I tried again this morning and changed my layout for the fabric and started from scratch. New pictures in the comments!!

Welp, saw a review from a Viner today who decided to use a stroller rocker as a thruster for “alternative activities”

I find it very unusual that someone would even do that with a BABY PRODUCT. That’s like someone ordering an electric toothbrush and then reviewing it as a vibrator 🤢

u/weebehemoth — 2 months ago

Wow. I think I’ve seen it all.

This person actually used their “stroller rocker” attachment as a sex toy and decided to put it in their review 🫣😩

I just came to complain

I have been eyeing the new Medicube Booster X2 version for awhile now, and I saw that there were finally some reviews for it live on Amazon. I cannot believe how many people gave it three stars because they found it “too complex” or “didn’t see results” - this is not a fast review item folks!! The turnaround for visible changes can take some time! And why are we knocking a product because you don’t know how to set up something via Bluetooth…?!

Anyways. I hope everyone who got one comes around to enjoying it. I have the OG one and I really really am happy with my results over the past six months. Still saving up to get the new one because I’m super excited for it!

Its magic, right??

For context. I am trying to get our 2 year old to stop sleeping in our bed. We're also about to fly across the country to see family. I'm thinking why not get a little portable bed I can travel with and use it at home until I have room for her toddler bed?

I almost bought this bed last night. I couldn't decide between these 3 but I really loved the square one with the moon and stars and clouds. So I hesitated. My mom asked if I could get something like this on Vine. "Mom they don't have cool stuff like this anymore" ya'll know what I'm talking about.

And then the RFY at 8pm happened today. I casually checked it and BAM there is the same exact bed I ALMOST bought last night!!!!! What have I done to appease the gods because I will keep doing it! Maybe its because it's been in my cart for several days - who TF knows.

But I got the bed I wanted anyway and it was $0Etv to boot.

Heck yeah!

No one would understand this but you guys outside of my mom and oldest kiddo. I am completely ecstatic - thats $75 I don't have to spend right now.

Best So Far (for me)!!

With a 3 week old baby and the $400 price tag and $0 ETV…it’s a win!

Y’all are a bit nicer here so..

I know cancellations are bad. But does anyone have experience to offer about cancelling items when Amazon sends the “Do You Still Want This Item?” emails after a product has been excessively delayed? The option is to either cancel or do nothing. And if the item *still* isn’t shipped by a marked date, then it will be cancelled for you.

I’m asking because I don’t cancel items. But this past week I’ve been receiving emails about a couple delayed items and I did decide to cancel them. I figured it can’t hurt because they are probably out of inventory or some other problem. But I’m wondering if this looks bad or whatever. My stats are always 97%+ reviewed, I have Excellent insightfulness and 80%+ media. I’m on my second period of Gold and order a lot (when my RFY is good.)

Never had any issues.

I know really there’s more speculation than truth but I’m happy to hear whatever anyone would like to weigh in.

Got my over $100 item

I missed out on a ninja blender a week before and was sad but today I was able to get this so I guess my baby will get a upgraded seat from a used basic stroller to a nicer one with shocks and light with music. Seems like my baby went from a Toyota to a Lexus

Warning concerning Hush Glow's foundation cushions

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GWJ192TP

TL;DR

The full post gets very, very detailed so I’d understand if you want it put simply.

In short, the SPF claims on Hush Glow foundation products are questionable. They have no legally required US drug facts and didn’t accurately measure SPF value. They’ve not offered the protection I get from genuine sunscreen even when applied heavily. It doesn’t show up on my two UV cameras which I can’t say for certain is foolproof but is concerning. To make it worse, it’s pricey, low quality, cakey, stained clothing and even looks like Cheetos dust residue despite matching my skin tone.

Even with some reservations, I write this to genuinely pass off this information. My review wasn’t outright rejected but it doesn’t show on the product page and I get that red text saying my reviews won't be allowed by my account. I hope that even if this post does not convince you wholly, that you would, at least, take it into consideration. I have zero to gain from this and, hypothetically, might even stand to lose.

____________________________________________________________________________

I was "lucky" enough to grab one of these but came to realize there were serious concerns over the foundation products from a brand called Hush Glow. This isn’t just to point out their low quality but to warn of the sketchy nature of their claims. I hoped my review would be enough but I get the error saying they aren’t accepting reviews from me about the item. One big thing I want to make clear is that there are genuinely great products with SPF ratings that I’ve gotten through Vine. You might want to be extra careful but I don’t mean to say that the ones on Vine are largely unreliable, especially when they’re from reputable sources. Still, I hope that people will take the time to do a background check whenever possible and consider this before ordering.

To start, when sunscreen is made in the US and then sold to customers, they are required to have a drug fact section with ingredients, directions and warnings. This didn’t. I thought maybe this was from a reputable brand overseas as regulation is different worldwide. However, the box and even the Hush Glow website suggests they’re based in Wyoming and their operating hours are more realistic for the States. I’ve even confirmed through the contact email on their site that the seller on Amazon was the official one.

Even more proof was how the ingredients list was written. On it, they list each sunscreen filter with their own SPF values which just isn’t how SPF is measured. It's the overall formulation that's tested. I always try on my two UV cameras and 99 percent of the time, the product from Vine does show protection. This one did not. While I cannot say it’s foolproof, it doesn’t look good. At the very least, I think it is likely the SPF value is much lower than 30. I still gave it a chance for a quick outing but it does not offer the sun protection I get in genuine sunblocks. As I wanted to give it a fair shake, I applied the same amount and took the same amount of time and direct contact as I would any other. So that I don’t have to walk around, in public, looking the way I did, I tried it while in my backyard.

Even more, the product didn’t work well as a foundation. This is secondary to my concerns but still relevant. The one I ordered was being sold at $42.99 for 0.63 oz which puts it at $68.34 per ounce. Foundation with or without SPF can get this pricey but I don’t know how competitive that rate is given their relatively lower brand name recognition, low quality and very mixed ratings. I still tried it on me but it looked like I had a bit of Cheetos dust on my skin. The tint also stains clothing like no other. It was clumpy and was difficult to apply in a way that was natural.

Strangely, I get nervous about writing anything on this subreddit because I assume it will negatively impact my account or even affect the items I get in my RFY page. (Not that it’s a real treasure trove but I do get items on occasion that are tailored to my needs and wants). That's particularly true in this case because they determined that any review I write would not go through with this item. However, everything I write is factual and built on evidence which I’ve documented. Me pointing this out seems fair game. As someone with a skin condition that results in red rashes with sun exposure and with a family history of sun cancer, it gives me all the more reason to warn others. I have nothing to gain from this and really just want to caution other Viners.
