Things to do when family comes when there is a list of things not to do

Struggling here. Dad and stepmom are coming to visit this weekend. We live right outside Montpelier. They don’t drink anymore so no breweries or wineries. We did apple picking last weekend so can’t do that because we already have a ton of apples. They’ve been to burlington a few times but we could do that again I guess but would need to find something new. Dad has a bad neck so biking is not the best but we could resort to that (we have done the Colchester causeway already).

Here are plans so far:

  1. Hike (somewhere not in stowe because of the crowds) Any recs?
  2. Mad river single chair!!!
  3. Football and chill on Sunday
  4. Need another activity please help!!! Maybe escape room? Maybe another hike? Go to Woodstock?

And obviously we have some dinners planned :)

What do non OCD people think about when they’re bored

Seriously does anyone else ever think about what other people think about when they are bored? People who don’t have OCD or a mental illness. Like my default is to ruminate and speculate and search my brain to figure out the source of my discomfort.

My husband has OCD too. Everyone else I know literally has something wrong with them like addiction, anxiety, depression, eating disorders…so on that note bonus question, do people exist out there without mental issues / disorders?

Relatable TV, podcasts, books, YouTube, etc.

Any relatable entertajnment or content or books about or relating to OCD ? Tv, movies, podcasts, YouTube, books, etc….
Listening to people talk about their experiences is healing for me as I enjoy trying to understand different perspectives. It’s hard to explain. I’ve watched a lot of Intervention (A&E), listened to a lot of This is Actuallt Happening Podcast. Listening to more of Mayim Bialik’s podcast.
