I got inspired to make this rant bcs recently I saw some people being crazily happy bcs an ALLEGED idol sibling is a lesbian.yes alleged this "sister" didnt even confirm this anywhere

1.if she really is this idol's sibling then there probably is a reason why isnt she talking about it.maybe she wants to live a private life which most idols siblings unfortunately cant get?maybe she doesnt want to be seen only as "x sister"?maybe she is scared for her safety bcs unfortuantely we live in a world where some crazy fans could harm her Simply bcs they have an idol sibling?what her sibling does for living shouldnt affect her

2.also i dont understand why would it make someone THAT happy?it's been known since years that this idol supports lgbtq+ so this doesnt even proove that theyre an ally or smth.plus it's not like gay ppl are a rare pokemon to be so happy about that😭i mean I would understand it if it wouldve been the idol who came out on their own therms cs it would probably make queer people more confident about who they are seeing that their idol is queer,but I rlly doubt that thats what makes them so happy about that idols "sister" being gay since its not like she is their idol or smth.even if it was the reason why it makes them so happy then AGAIN it seems like she wants to keep her life private and we should respect that

3.i really like that idol so i've read and watched some of their interviews.they highlighted it many times that they want to keep a barrier between their idol and private life and THIS is clearly crossing it.I specifically talked about this bcs im pretty active in this idols fandom space but that also applies to every other idol sibling
