looking for custom replacement doos

I have a historic home and desperately need to replace the French doors that lead to the patio before winter (they're crazy drafty, single pane windows, terrible). I've called Deluxe Windows and Doors and they can't work on our project because of the nature of the doors and since it's an old house. Anyone have experience with other folks in the area, general contractors or custom builders? The doors cannot be just off the rack, as they're taller and wider than standard.

Help with loose stitches in cabling, please and thanks

I'm not a new knitter but I'm having a new-to-me issue with cables. when I cable, the last stitch ends up big and loose, noticeably so. I've tried really tightening up the tension but that's not solving the issue and I'm wondering what else I should try. I've attached a picture showing the issue. Both ends of the needle are pointing to the loose stitches.

the yarn is baby alpaca - it's super squishy.

the pattern is Cloudwalker (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cloudwalker)

I think I know the answer, but is my girl overweight? I've had her since January but she recently decided to go after and eats all of the shrimp she had been peacefully cohabitating with. If she is overweight, what sort of change in diet would be appropriate?

She eats Tetra Betta pellets - about 10, twice a day. She does not eat dried blood worms when I have offered them.

The tank is planted and cycled (I test the water twice a week and do a partial water change weekly). It's a 5 gal tank. The only other creatures now are a few snails.

Need to find a place to find lenses for my glasses

I just had a weird experience at a new optometrist. I brought in my own frames and they refused to put lenses in since I didn't buy them there. I have a prescription and just need to find a place I can bring frames and they will put lenses in. Anyone have recommendations? I'm on the Exeter side of town but also am often out in Wyomissing or Shillington.

I made this top a while ago and am finally getting around to quilting it. I picked this bold red gingham for the back because the project has picnic blanket vibes to me. But binding?! Would you do a scrappy binding using the fabrics from the quilt top? I'm not sure I still have those scraps left or if they've been used in other projects. I'm usually confident about fabric and color choices but I'm stumped!@

I recently moved my betta, Moon, to a bigger tank. I had some cute colorful shrimp in there for about two weeks before I put her in. She'd previously been with shrimp and lived happily together. Sadly, she seems to have realized the new shrimp were food and quickly ate most of them. We were obviously upset, as my toddler and I loved watching the shrimps live their happy lives.

My question: if I add a better cave/shrimp hide, could I put more shrimp in, or would I be sending them to their doom, since she now knows they are edible? The video shows the tank in the happy days before Moon rained down terror.
