AI Agents: Real Production Success or Mostly Hype?

Curious to know from people actually deploying AI agents in production.

I’m a big believer in AI. As a copilot it is already amazing — dev, recruiting, sales, research and almost every role.

But when it comes to fully autonomous AI agents, how many are actually successful in production today?

Not demos or POCs. Agents actually running with minimal human intervention, saving meaningful cost or generating good profits.

Once we add guardrails, approvals, monitoring and exception handling, are they really autonomous anymore?

I see dev work as one area where agents are already very strong.

Would love to hear some real production examples and ROI numbers.

India Wants Bullet Trains. But Why Can't We Fix This First?

Genuine question:

We're spending thousands of crores on bullet trains, but train vendors still walk coach to coach carrying heavy buckets on their shoulders.

Why not give them simple lightweight carts?

  • Less physical effort
  • Faster service
  • More sales
  • Better for workers

Sometimes I feel India focuses too much on big headline projects while ignoring small improvements that could help millions of people every day.

Am I missing something, or should we fix these basics first?

Am I Crazy For Wanting To Short AI?

Is it just me, or does the AI trade feel bigger than the dot-com bubble?

When I look at the money being invested versus actual revenues and profits, the numbers don't add up.

AI is useful. No doubt.

But are these valuations justified?

Part of me wants to load up on NASDAQ and AI puts before OpenAI and Anthropic IPOs.

Anyone else getting bubble vibes, or am I missing something?

Rule : 10 Years in India after IIT graduation

We are loosing brains, yes there are so many problems in our country but I genuinely believe if the smart brains are here we can fix things, first by creating some world class startups and innovation here we generate wealth, as the wealth gets created everything will start changing...

What do you think??

Do the smart brains freely move out???

Even with trump 100k this year around 100 Indians are getting h1b sponsorship this year... see how valuable brain drain is happening.. what if those great Indians stay back and innovate here and build startups like sarvam.ai or qpiAi

Anthropic wants to be a $10T

So let me get this straight...

Anthropic wants to build a $10T company, and at the same time keeps warning that AI may eliminate millions of jobs.

As a shareholder, that sounds amazing.

As an employee, slightly less amazing.

Are we watching genuine concern for society, or the greatest investor pitch deck ever created?

Curious how others see this.
