looking for recliner in VIBRANT jewel tones for anniversary gift

Partner and I want matching recliner chairs. It is of absolute importance that her recliner chair be described as "colorful, bold, whimsical, vibrant, jewel toned, or witchy"

I have spent days looking at chairs online but I lack furniture education. Looking at the big names like lazyboy and anything you can find at an Ashley furniture sorta place everything is in colors my partner would describe as "hospice colors". Background: Partner works in an old folks home. Partner says she wants a chair that does not resemble the colors or patterns someone would find in a hospital, retirement home, or other neutral area. No grays, no earth tones, no black. And I get it? Looking through a ton of the chair catalogues, places will list they have colorful options but when you click through its like the La Croix of colors, a color left out in the sun for 50 years. Candy colors that stain easily and vibrant jewel tones are the most important thing to her so she can mentally escape from work.

The Joybird Corey swivel in raspberry which for now is the top choice but I can't find a single product shot of anyone sitting in the chair. And the only place online that seems to talk about the company is some NYT article. It just seems a little shady

-------------------
Is there anyplace that sells VIBRANT fabric recliners, the sort of ones she could make her little nests with the cat and all her knitting supplies in the chair with her? Quality and care is important but I don't think a Stressless would fit the fireside + blankets + cats in the chair with her vibe.

We live in the USA. I'm not doxxing myself more than that.

I'm expecting to drop around 2k on this thing but budget is adjustable

I do not know how to size a recliner chair, the numbers vary incredibly online. Just a nice big one? it doesn't need to be like a "big and tall" thing

+rocking chair is a bonus

I'm hoping for very vibrant colors + plush sink-into vibes. Fabric is a must, leather does not work well in our house

I have exhausted my search into brands like lazyboy, flex steel, and whatever I can find at the major furniture outlet stores like Ashley

It'd be great if we could order online and have it shipped but in person is fine too

plz and thanks for reccomendations

Can someone recommend similar flavored teas, or explain why I like these ones?

So right off the bat, this subreddit has patiently explained to me over the past 15 or so years that my taste in tea is crap and that I don't appreciate "the good stuff". Still, I keep trying! :D

For the question: I have 3 kinds of tea that I really like! I'd like to find more teas that are very similar so that I can branch out but still stick to things I like. Maybe folks who know tea words can help me figure out what the common thing is between these 3 types of tea.

15 years ago I really liked Adagio's Assam. They only had the one and later got other types of assam. The more expensive their assam the worse flavor I noted. Flavors seemed more acidy and less deep chocolaty robust notes. (I don't describe flavors well) and then I STG they started dramatically reducing quality and flavor. Nowadays I can't drink most of their shit except their butterscotch but I hope I can find a replacement!

nowadays I like New Mexico Tea Co's: New Mexico Breakfast Tea. It has a flavor in it that I don't taste in any of their other breakfast blends. I don't know what it is. I wish I did because I love it and want to find a blend where the flavor is even stronger! This is my favorite tea :)

lastly, this one is a sugary drink sold at the Japanese Market but its called "Kirin afternoon milk tea". I swear to god the same flavor thats in this bottle is somehow related to the flavor thats in the New Mexico Blend

at this point I've dumped a few hundred dollars into tea that I tried once, said eww, and then passed along to my family. I'm open to trying more but theres so much and I don't know where or what I'm looking for

anyone want to help a raving fool learn why they like tea and try to find more ones?

Looking for resource and activity recommendations for managing sensory and emotional trauma regarding menstruation

I got a kiddo who has been signed up for OT due to sensory and clothing intolerance my books said. Except I found out its all perennial sensitivity, and I can hardly bring out the Wilbarger brushes or the vibrating sloth pillow I use for more generalized clothing intolerance.

Talking to the parents too, while clothing sensory is how they understand the concept, its pretty clear that kiddo is moreso just wholeheartedly rejecting the concept of having a period at all. Cognition is typical but we become so dysregulated that we can't wear sanitary solutions, we can't go to school and we just cry on and off and try to sit on towels around the house for a few days. Parents need a solution by fall

All the resources I'm coming across are "let the child hold a pad and draw on it! learn a schedule!" but thats way to advanced for the levels of dysregulation occuring here. I think kiddo understands I think they're just rejecting.

I haven't handled a period situation with a child before, any advice from those that might have?

edit: because I forgot to mention, kiddo is on spectrum but largely IND and with typical cognition. Just having a really strong trauma response to the body changing without permission

How do I safely make this room dark?

https://preview.redd.it/meg88qd5o34h1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=ce37202e98b3fce824a3432fa1f1790e195ab9e7

Background info: I work in a pediatric behavioral health office. we rent a floor of this building and there is one light switch for the entire floor. alas, its what we could afford. Anyways this room has been portioned out to be the new low-sensory room for panic attacks and chill sessions, it should be very dark and covered in bean bag chairs and coziness.

I need to block two of these overhead lights. If they were tubes I'd just take them out but if you roll back the plastic its actually little strips of LEDs leading off to god knows where. Folks keep saying they make light covers on amazon, even blackout ones, but they don't work for shit and just tint the still very bright light. I need this room to be DARK so we can put up dim sparkly lights and glow-in-the-dark toys for the children.

Boss and building owner say they want and give permission for me to put something up to cover the lights so long as it fits local fire code. We have a good relationship with the local fire boys and had the last clinic checked pretty regularly, and I'll have them check any solutions I come up with before making them. I was told "so long as it can't fall down easily, doesn't conduct electricity, and isn't suspended by thumbtacks and paperclips, it should be fine" but again I WILL be checking before I make changes.

Unfortunately, I feel like my ideas are kind of trashy looking and uninformed and am hoping someone here knows anything more about DIY than me who knows: (nothing). My current idea is to cut foam board and wedge it under the metal brackets that hold up the ceiling tiles.

Does anyone here have any better ideas for how to make this room into a dark room? Please and thanks for help
