Hi! New here. I found this in a big lot of marbles and it seemed interesting. I am not very knowledgeable in this area, as I just collect Uranium, Manganese, Cadmium, and Selenium marbles.
It is not perfectly round and gives the impression of if someone rolled a piece of clay into a ball (I know this isn't the case but it describes the texture/appearance pretty well. ~9/16"
Picked up this awesome Cadmium/Selenium Akro Agate mini planter. I already have a set of green Uranium glass ones, so this was a super cool find.
Got a curio cabinet refurbished and finally got my US made glass set up. Ignore the two ceramic/stoneware pipes, I hope that's ok mods.
Just got my first recycler from Spotted Rhino Glass out of California! I absolutely love it. 6.25" tall.

I'm in NC and looking to find some local festivals/markets featuring local glassblowers who make functional pieces. I would really love to, at some point when finances allow, get a nice locally made rig. Does anyone know any NC artists or festivals/markets in NC where a decent amount of glassblowers art is featured?

I collect antique glass and found this little guy for $4 at an antique mall. It's been my designated chamber soaking glass haha.
So I finally tried out the MJ Arsenal Medusa attachment with 3 people after the box being sealed for almost a year because I didn't know enough people that smoked. Today, I used some vacuum caps to seal off the other two ports and use it solo. I am able to run some pretty chunky diamonds in sauce with no chazz and minimal residue when I run it on White with 2 boosts. This attachment would be phenomenal on a Peak Pro I bet.
As the title states, I found this on clearance at an antique store and despite all of my research I can't find another one of these. Can anyone help with ID on the maker and/or the pattern name? Stands approximately 6" tall.
I got some high resolution scans done of some of my film backlog. Really proud of how this came out. After 3 years of shooting with film I'm proud of my progress, but much more to learn.

This was found by a friend's child and I was trying to help get an ID. Found in woods near Roanoke, VA. Fingernail will scratch all. Small green crystals that resemble something akin to olivine (maybe just olivine?) are on first pic. Hard to get it captured well on phone camera. Slight purple sheen on darker side except for one spot that is just pure black.

Has everyone had good luck with the new gen hot knives not being DOA out of the box? Just got my second OG hot knife that was DOA and I'm getting tired of having to do warranty stuff or just the general disappointment of products not working on two separate occasions.
I got this in the mail, and was astounded how beautiful it is. This is my first heady piece and I love it. Med/Large bowl and the ash catcher mouthpiece's sparkle is excellent.
It was also cool to get a front carb that's more ergonomic for a lefty like me.

This is the first piece of milk or custard glass I've seen in the wild that wasn't absurdly priced. I paid $6.50 and feel like it was a steal for my collection.

I've yet to find anything that even moves the meter on my RC102 at mineral shows (The hunt continues for U and Th minerals at a show), but I found this little piece of tumbled Apatite from Madagascar for $2USD and set my very low alarm red lights off. I've been unlucky in finding any Apatite with any significant activity up until then!
Nothing super interesting to most folks here but it was fun to actually get to use my RC102 at a show. The show was in Salem, VA, USA. Lots of other fun cheap non-radioactive finds as well there.
I picked up my first large piece in hopes I'd find some new smoking buddies. Is there anyone that can make a large 14mm bowl/slide for a reasonable price? I wouldn't need anything super complex. Just large capacity.
I thought that if anywhere, this might be the place to check and see if anyone can help out getting a piece done.

This is a piece from the Federal "Patrician" set/design. Under 365nm it glows a nice bright orange. Is this a cadmium/selenium mix causing the orange?
Got a steal on this blind buy from FB Marketplace.
My guess was correct that there were bound to be some nice glowing pieces in the big mason jar given all of the Akro Agate-esque marbles in view.
I'm about to go through the jar and sort the marbles with my girlfriend to find any damaged and non UV reactive marbles.
