Very "soft" shots/lack of focus in example shots?

I was a very early backer and switched to become a backer of the aluminum, so I won't get mine for a while. I'm impressed with the color rendering of this camera from the example shots I've seen posted. However, what is concerning me is that in nearly every one of the shots I am noticing a general overall softness and/or lack of overall focus of really anything in the shot. I'm not a pixel peeper, but when you zoom in, nothing in any of the shits appears to be sharp and in focus. Everything in the frame seems to be just out of focus. Now, when the pics are viewed as small shits in Instagram or in a reddit post, you can't really tell. But, so far at least, it seems like they will lose clarity and fidelity if the size gets much larger than that. Or, am I simply seeing compressed Reddit examples? Can someone that's received one link to an uncompressed full shot or two so we can see the overall clarity and focus this thing is capable of? So far, color me concerned.

Found Olympus OM Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f/1.2 for $40. Needs service. Suggestions?

Hi all. Today, I found a Olympus OM Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f/1.2 for $40 at a thrift store. It has some slight fungus on the front and rear elements. I believe it's quite worth getting it serviced to use with my OM 2n. Trouble is, I don't don't the best place to get that done. For reference, I'm in the Southern United States. Does anyone have any suggestions?

365 Days of Cameras Instagram Guy

Has anyone seen the 365 Days of Cameras guy on Instagram? How has a guy that young gotten so many cameras? Dude's got one of everything it seems like. On one hand, it's a cool project to get to see so many cameras and learn a little about each. On the other hand, it's an example of G.A.S. like I've never seen in my life.
