Georgists F. "Patro" Stephens & W.L. Price, on welcoming "trespassers" to their newly founded town

WS:LR Simple Leciono[...] (Remastered from 114 y/o Esp. lesson)

I create & publish a local news/culture 'zine about the villages of Arden in Delaware. It was founded in the early 1900s by Georgist craftsmen, many of whom were avid Esperantists. I designed this Simple Lesson[...] based off some old lessons written for the town paper in the 1910s.

In 1912, the village discussed holding "Esperanto Day" on Sunday, June 23rd; during which "a dozen or more members of the Philadelphia Esperanto Society came down on the morning train, bringing basket dinners, and were joined by members and friends of the Arden Esperanto Club in a very enjoyable picnic in Sherwood Forest. Speeches and songs in Esperanto were heard at the Gild Hall in the afternoon."

I'll be distributing the lesson tomorrow, 114 years since their Esperanto day. Is there anything wrong? Has the language changed in any notable ways? (Im not fluent, I only have 3-ish months of practice.)

99.9% sure the 12-year-old who made our swim team's logo used AI. They beat 10 other hand-made submissions.

They held a competition for their teams new logo, and this logo won by a long-shot. Im not a sore loser but I wish any of the others had been picked before this obvious slop. Red flags: The spray cant decide between round & sharp; left fin is a different style from the right; blotches on gills...

EDIT: The mother of the child who supposedly created the logo confirmed on Facebook that she used an AI generator. Her defense was that it was never explicitly disallowed in the rules. To be clear though, the rules were also AI generated & only vaguely required a "creative and original logo".
