How do people grow new Instagram account?

A person I know has just started a new Instagram account and with only 3 posts, not reels, pictures. They have over 200 followers within a week? It’s nothing special, no text no nothing. The descriptions are nothing special either. All the posts get around 30+ likes and comments.

I have an account I’ve been trying to grow consistently for a month, I’ve been posting 2 reels a week and 1 set of pictures. I only have 8 followers so far. I don’t get likes or comments. 😞

Is there a hack to this? They do follow around 100 people, so I tried following a bunch to boost my account a tiny bit but gained nothing from it.

What’s the secret to the first few hundred?

Confetti turning dark green?

Sorry for the dark pictures but I just noticed that my confetti is developing dark green spots. Is this normal? They seem more see through than the rest of the leaf. None of the leaves had this until I’d assume a few days ago. I’m noticing some leaves also have brow spots, even on the newly opened ones which is also not what I’m used to.

It’s sitting in an east facing window, gets morning Sun directly on it if the weather is good.

EDIT: it was over watering

Just dropped this :| (should I re-pot it)

Wanted to take a picture to ask if I should re-pot this Ring of fire. I ended up dropping it and tearing off a leaf 🫠. Well anyway, does this need a bigger pot?

Leaf help!

Hello! I got this philodendron ring of fire a few days ago. There was a wound up leaf and it already had a big tear, as it’s uncurling it obviously still has that but it’s so big I’m worried half of the leaf will fall off 😭 can I somehow attach something to keep it together? Like plants staples or glue? I have no idea please help!!

Help with new plant.

I just received a delivery of plants which included this pink splash. It looks very sad. I’ve never had syngoniums before and overall just getting started with house plants.

The soil was very dry and mouldy at the top? So I soaked it and gave it some nicer soil. I cut away some of the completely yellow leaves. It’s currently sitting next to a humidifier and by a window.

Is there anything else I can do to help? All the leaves are crunchy :( there was a root popping out from the bottom of the pot as well.
