So I sold a hoodie to Sweden a week or two ago. Yesterday, I got a notification that I got a new package in my parcel box, even though I haven’t ordered anything from that exact shipping company I got a message from. I went to pick it up and it was that hoodie I sold. On the shipping company site it says ‘order collected by buyer’, but it also said something about a return code too.
On Vinted it still says that the package is in transit even though it’s back in my house. I contacted the buyer saying that the hoodie was shipped back to me, it didn’t even seem to cross the country borders and I asked if they haven’t picked it up or something, saying I have no idea what happened. They wrote back to me that they’ve been waiting for it, it was supposed to arrive today but it never arrived, that it says it’s on its way and that they’re waiting for it.
I have no idea what do I reply since I wrote the exact thing that happened and they’re still ‘waiting for it’. I don’t really know what to do since I’m pretty new to selling on Vinted and this has never happened to me before :( I’m also a bit of a baby when it comes to replying to stuff like this since I don’t want to come off as mean or a scammer in any way. Also apologies if I made any mistakes when writing, I’m not a native English speaker! Please don’t be mean since I’m genuinely clueless on what to do, also I have never sent anything outside Poland…
