Anyone else weirdly optimistic about Sunday Night?

By all means we could still get BTA, but I’m feeling unusually optimistic. Because it’s games like these that the Panthers are so good at. Games where it feels like there’s no way in hell we should be winning this and will surely be a 17-40 loss for the boys and yet often times the boys manage to pull something out. Hoping the same happens here. KEEP POUNDING!

Does Anyone Know When Football Tickets are available Yosef Club members?

I remember them saying that they go on sale a week before the game but now it is a week before.

What are we thinking yall?

Honestly the more I think about it the more I feel like it had to happen. While I love Lamelo he was over 20% of our cap space and was consistenly hurt. I’m personally excited for Naz Reid to come to Charlotte but I wish we were able to get two firsts and two swaps instead of one pick and three swaps. Regardless though, it’s hearbreaking.

New Personal Record for 64!

Are there any tips I should know (especially on Area 6) to help my score?

Very early NFL Season Predictions

Usually I predict that we lose in the divisional but something this year is telling me we're gonna go all the way. I know Dan Morgan said we're in between rebuilding and contending but I think if we decided to go full throttle and make a push we could end up with the Lombardi.

For those worried about the early bye just remember

Looking back we also had a pretty tough schedule that year. Since this team tends to play great against good teams and awful against bad ones maybe this is the push we need this year. Plus the only difference between our schedule and our rivals’ schedule is 3 games. In my humble opinion, BRING IT ON!!!

What would yall think about the Canes playing a game in Charlotte?

I'm a Canes fan in Charlotte, and this year I finally made the trip up to Raleighwood, and it was an absolute blast (even though we lost 15 seconds in overtime to the Oilers)! I absolutely loved the culture and overall loyalty displayed at the game. But that got me thinking about a potential "once a year" type of thing where the Canes would play in Charlotte, similar to how the Jacksonville Jaguars always play a game in London though instead of sacrificing one out of 8-9 games the Canes are only sacrificing one of 41 games. Plus, the Charlotte Checkers are pretty well loved down here so to see the CAROLINA Hurricanes play a game here would be awesome!

As for venues I know Spectrum Center has issues with sightlines (which is why the Checkers moved back to the Biscuit), and since Raleigh's able to fill up Carter-Finley Stadium I think having a game in Bank of America Stadium would be amazing!

However there are some potential problems that I want to address:

  1. The Checkers are affiliated with the Florida Panthers. I don't think Florida would necessarily like the idea of the Canes expanding into their minor-league team's market. That being said just like how the Knights are associated with the Chicago White Sox I don't know a single soul in Charlotte who's a fan of the Florida Panthers or Chicago White Sox. If Florida were to be pissy about the idea though they could just have a neutral game here (where there would almost certainly be more Canes fans).

  2. Potential attendance issues. Bank of America stadium is significantly larger than Carter-Finley Stadium (75,037 to 56,919) but considering this is a once a year type of thing for Charlotte I think people will ultimately turnout. If they're really concerned about that (and if Florida's fine with it) they could just tarp some seats or play the Leafs or Habs, though the latter one might end up in a takeover.

  3. The weather. Worst comes to shove they could just delay it I guess. This one's a bit harder to solve.

What do yall think about this idea though?
