Hi people !! so it’s been 2 months since my parents added my profile to matrimonial sites. We thought not to have any middle man as they will just look to you like product which have to be sold.
So, when the discussions of marriages were happening my parents were pretty sure that matches are gonna be flooded. Reason being I am well educated, earn well, work in good company etc;
But now as I am into this process understood this is a market. Just like how we reject an fruit/veg immediately by looks similar thing is happening here. It’s pure gambling out there. Just bunch of checklists. Caste , community , skin tone , height etc; everything unrelated to the personality you have developed. now out of no where my parents are getting anxious and making me anxious. It’s all just pure stressful scenario but shouldn’t it be more joyful scenario where i should be happy finding someone to spend rest of my life with?
