Someone ties a bunch of grass and throws it on our front door.

For 2 to 3 days in a row, I've been seeing this on my front door. Is this some kind of magic or something? Should we be worried or contact the police (I hope not)? I'm thinking of installing a Wi-Fi CCTV camera now.
