Queen Mary knocking

I was on the Haunted Tour on the Queen Mary, docked at Long Beach. We were at the First Class Pool and the guide was talking about the little girl, Jackie being seen there. As the group was taking turns taking pictures, me and the guy next to me heard a knocking coming from the hallway towards the bow of the ship. We were the only group down there. The guy and I looked at each other and then back down the hallway. We both took a couple of photos but they showed nothing.

And I have to drive her home too?

We had a small gathering for dinner... it was just immediate family and my FIL & MIL. Just enough for 1 table of 10 at the Chinese restaurant. The special dinners are served family style and the price is set for 10 servings.

An hour before leaving the house, my wife received a call from her mother. I was in the next room, but I can tell that my wife was not happy... I was not sure if it was at me or something my MIL was saying.

After hanging up, my wife tells me that her Mom invited a friend to join us for dinner. My wife tried to tell her everything was ordered and the table is set for 10. Nope, My MIL insisted to include her friend.

My BIL picked up my FIL, MIL and the Guest. From talking to my BIL's wife they were surprised that now there were 5 people in a compact car... a little bit tight, since my MIL can only sit in the front seat, because she gets 'car sick' ( This is really BS...after 30 years, I have never seen her get car sick at all).

So at the restaurant, I had to change the number of guest, had to add another chair and setting so it got a bit tight. 2 of us are lefties so elbows are bumping. Had to add more food too.

As dinner was winding down, my MIL says, not ask...says, that we (my wife and I and my 2 teenage boys) will drive her friend home. We were driving a Prius...it was tight already. My wife grabbed my leg and pinched me...more as stress relief for her and to keep me from saying something that she might not want to deal with the fallnout. She lived 25 minutes away from my house and was not even close to being on the way.
