First time hail victim

my pumpkin leaves have these cool hail holes in them now…. Wondering if I should cut back some of the damage or if recovery is possible? Or if it matters?

So far the leaves are perky (mornings/evenings) and droopy (in the heat of the day) per usual but still worried about a mass pumpkin casualty

tyia for any advice

15 yr old girl, rebellion, SAO

New here but needing lived experience, advice, or support.

I recently moved in with my sister and her kids to help out while their dad is serving some time. The kids have trauma that we try to soften and support and we try to tackle the rough times as a team.

For the last year and a half our 15 year old girl has been SAO (sexually acting out,) putting herself in dangerous situations, vaping (classic,) and gets physically violent and impulsive when we try to address our concerns or say no to hangout requests.

She has been talked to by police, she has an open case with an adult man, she really is going through it. Rock bottom has been hit many times. She seems to get a thrill from rebellion, which I respect and understand but can’t seem to help her pivot to safer ways to channel that energy (justice work, live punk/rock shows, hikes, etc…..)

We just want to keep her safe and keep US safe too at this point.

Any wise words or ways to navigate confronting dangerous teen behavior?

I’m assuming we are all here for similar advice but any is welcomed. TIA

What is burrowing to the root then stopping?

For 3 nights in a row, a critter is digging a hole towards my tomato plant root, then stops, no damage done, no burrow made. It does disrupt my seedlings where it’s making a dirt ring, but it’s mostly just strange

I buried a bunch of small rocks under the soil and put some on top and it dug AGAIN in the exact same spot moving all the rocks from the tomato root.

What’s up with this? Lots of rabbits in my neighborhood, snakes… haven’t seen rats who knows

BPM hopes

Not looking for medical advice just personal experiences!

Background on me: only on day 5 sobriety, lots of cutting back over the course of months and have intentionally been getting 5-10k steps daily, along with daily cleaning gardening movements lifting. It’s not much but I have lost about 10lbs doing so in 6 months!

Started at the gym this week and when I’m walking 3mph at 3% incline for 20 mins, my BPM is around 160!! When I’m “cooling down” it was resting at about 130-140bpm. Which I thought was pretty crazy and maybe not good?

I’m seeing a doctor today for work clearance anyways but I was wondering——

when you first became sober was your heart rate and bpm high as well? Are you now in the healthy range?

R. EEG T. Question

Weighing my options while I change career paths. I’m wanting Out of behavioral health but want to stay clinical.

I have a friend who has been a R EEG T for about 5 years, pays her well and she still recommends it. I noticed the hospitals local to me only have 1 or 2 full time registered techs and lots of students, prns, trainees who are paid about $22/hr….it doesn’t seem in demand where I am at. I’m willing to move after the program if it’s a location issue

Are registered techs in demand or is google misleading me? I’m just wondering if a 9k year-long program is worth making 60k a year. How much do you make as a R EEG T? Should I run the other way? Im open to recommendations
