Has anyone reapply to the same company?

Couple months ago, I interviewed at a company that seemed promising. They’re remote, great culture, & have good benefits. Unfortunately, I didn’t interview well & was rejected. Since then, I noticed there are open roles on their site I’m interested in. Would it be weird if I re-apply? Has anyone done this before? How did it go?

I’m exhausted from work

This is more of a vent post.

I’ve been feeling quite exhausted from work. I want to throw my hands up & say I don’t care but deep down I do. There are things from last week I still haven’t taken care of & there are things today that keep coming in. I’m clearing emails but also seems like I’m not doing enough.

There’s pressure to push these accounts & put more money on the books, so someone else can have more money. But I’m so tired. It seems like working late is the only way I’ll be able to clear my inbox & catch up on my to-do list. I feel guilty for complaining when my coworker does so much more.

I want to leave this job but this market is so daunting. I feel miserable.

My mom transferred her house to my name (TX)

Recently, my mom transferred her house to my name. She said that if later I decide to sell the house, to which I do, I would have to pay taxes on the appreciated value. According to Zillow, the house is ~260k. I believe when they bought it, it was ~$100k (idk exact number). Is there any way I can avoid paying the additional taxes?

I read that to avoid it, you have to put it in a trust or the inherit it after death through a will/ToD. Since my mom already transferred, can she transfer it back under her name & put my name on the will as the beneficiary? The house is my mom’s only asset/property so using a trust would be too costly for her.

Please advise!
