How can I trace a progress sync network issue?
I have been trying to set up progress syncing between my x4 and x3. When I sync on my x4 I can push and pull without issue. If I try the same on my x3 it goes through the handshake and then fails (see video). There is no issue with the wifi as I can connect and access without any problems. It just appears to be the Koreader sync.
Is there a way of getting more information on the network failure?

I’ve just ordered an x3 (cleverly the day before the discount was announced 🤦♂️) and have been wondering what you can do with the NFC and are the features only available to the stock firmware?

I wish Xteink would update this
I want to get a white x3 but it’s out of stock - fine but this message is very unhelpful given 20th May was nearly four weeks ago. If I preordered would it be sent now as it after 20th May? In six weeks? In six months? No wonder people order elsewhere.
For those that are bound to ask I won’t be buying off AE as I want to get the unlocked edition without having to go through the unlock process and I don’t live in the US so can’t order from Amazon.

What do I need to do to get cover images show on Crosspoint
I love Crosspoint but I wish that more of my books had cover images that displayed. I'd say about 80% of them don't.
I am transferring books via the Crosspoint plug-in on Calibre and tried the following:
- doing nothing, just copying across (sometimes works mostly not)
- creating a B&W 400x800 image here and then editing the book and injecting this into the book (doesn't work)
- taking the SD card, looking for the book folder in .crosspoint and copying the cover created in 2 as cover.bmp into this folder (doesn't work)
I'd really like to have the covers showing and I am willing to put in some effort to get them there but haven't (yet) worked out what I need to do. Anyone have any sure-fire way I can get them working?

Export GEDCOM to book with pictorial tree
I've searched through this subreddit and tried a number of different packages to find what I am looking for but not yet found it and hoping someone here can help.
What I would like to do is compile a book from my GEDcom but to include a small tree for each couple. It's hard to describe but here are a couple of images showing the sort of thing I would like: https://postimg.cc/gallery/zDy1CTt
I'd also be happy with it being a text tree rather than graphical boxes.
Is there any software that does specifically that?
