FAFO player

I run an in school suspension program at my local schools. I have a varsity football player who is about to get his butt kicked off the team for his behavior.

I, along with his coach, would like to come up with a research/essay topic for him to focus on this coming week. Specifically a player who played stupid games and won stupid prizes.

We were all idiots in high school and I want to do everything I can to get this kid back on the right path. All he is interested in is being a QB.

Help me help a kid who wants you to know his name!

Less than month old filter

Sorry it’s so gross looking… this filter is less than a month old and looks like this. I feel ill just looking at it…. Wtf is it?!

EDIT: to answer multiple questions

  1. it’s an above ground that is only up for the summer, we’ve had it for MANY years

  2. the only chemical we use in the pool is chlorine tablets in a float

  3. there is zero hanky panky going on in the pool. 90% of the time it’s just a bunch of kids

  4. I DID try and google what it was before coming to reddit to be judged by all yall

Sick Red Maple

We planted this red maple last fall. It had a beautiful start and seemed perfect healthy until a week or two ago. All of the sudden it’s looking like it requires hospice care!

I just did a spray of 1 liter of water to 1 tsp baking soda. What else can I do?!

Location: NW Ohio

Center pull cakes

I have always just wrapped a traditional ball but I wanted to try and do a center pull. Everything was going well but then it started passing… clots. Things just got worse from there! The outside was unraveling and tangling with the ‘clots’.

It took me three hours to untangle everything while rerolling it into a ball. What am I doing wrong?!?!
