Gained weight after pregnancy and NOT breastfeeding

Before pregnancy, my metabolism was always decent. Even during pregnancy I did not feel like I overindulged (I also had GD). After I gave birth, I lost the weight I gained but since then I have gained it all back and some more! Everything I read says this is normal for breastfeeding mom’s but my baby had always been formula fed and is almost a year old now. Any one else relate?

It is really disheartening obviously. I expected some weight fluctuation but not this much. I honestly have always been just naturally small and petite so going from a size 2 to a size 8-10 has been hard. and yes I know some would still kill to be this size but I am really looking for my feelings to not be minimized :(

11 Month Old MOTN

I had posted three weeks ago about our baby getting up at 5am everyday. We have finally fixed his schedule and this no longer happens! We even had three nights of him sleeping all the way through but now he is waking up at 1am every night and is taking forever to go back to sleep. I believe it is due to him pulling to stand and teething. We have night weaned feeds. He turns 1 the end of this month but is 10 months adjusted

Do you still sleep train if they are having a regression? We do put him down awake at bed time and he can fall asleep on his own.

Right now I wait about 15 minutes and then I go in, last night he had thrown up while crying and I felt horrible about it. Maybe I just need some encouragement to CIO still? Checks make him cry harder.

I also wonder how you stay awake to monitor to him while he CIO? I turn down the monitor but I can usually barely stay awake and am worried I will fall asleep while he continues to cry?

His schedule is 3.25/3.5/4.45

6am wake up
9:15 nap (capped to 1hour 15 mins) we have tried to push this to 9:30 but he sometimes starts nodding off)
2:00 nap (capped to 1 hour)
7:30 we start bed time

5am Wakeups- attempting schedule change

Baby is 10 months old and for the most part we had just followed his cues. This worked well until this past month where now he wakes up twice over night, he wakes up screaming and it takes about an hour to get him back to sleep. His wake windows are 3/3/4 but he is waking up at 5am so we have been doing three naps. His total nap time for the day never exceeds 3 hours. He goes to bed at 7:30.

We want to move to a set schedule of wake up at 7 and then have the same time of naps each day? His bed time has been at 7:30, should this be later? If he wakes up at 5 and cries do we just let him cio until 7?

Baby Crawling

We just moved to a new apartment, I had requested a first floor but there was none available so we did end up on the third floor. We have a ten month old who is army crawling (he is quite loud when he does it) and is starting to try to walk. So unfortunately there are a lot of thudding sounds.

Well we have only been here a week and the downstairs neighbor has already hit the ceiling after our baby was crawling all over. We do have rugs down but I honestly do not know what to do. He goes to bed at 7 and is not up until 7 so he is not loud during quiet hours. My family thinks that I should give our downstairs neighbor a heads up that we have a baby but I have read so many horror stories on here about talking to neighbors. I also do not want to get in trouble. Do I say something to management?
