china to usa package forwarding

hello !! I’ve been using someone personal address to receive items but after january they wont be accepting any more shipments so i need an alternative.

i want to be able to ship whatever they have on hand + other items to a consolidation warehouse to be shipped to me possible early next year (february most likely).

i already have a way to pay via alipay as well as someone helps me with more difficult purchases. i genuinely just need a place to send items to and someone to consolidate them to send them to me in february. the package wont be super super heavy. im hoping this will also save me a bit on shipping and tariffs.

shipping from china to usa

hello! i have a few questions.

i am using a friends chinese address to store items i want to ship to myself in america but i am super worried about the tariffs. i never got hit with them when i use a proxy for two clothing items on xhs…

the items vary from small sticker books, photocards, 10cm dolls, contacts, phone cases, and a bag.

will i be be considered duty free if its labeled a gift since its not coming directly from a business and just being sent to a person, and the value is under $100. its $95 at most.

will shipping be really bad? i used a japanese proxy site for some items from mercari japan and my shipping + duty together was $101, so im wondering what shipping + duty will look like from china who has higher tariffs

would it be more convenient and or cost effective for me to get the package shipped to korea? and then to myself in america?

im new to this whole thing because this is new territory, ive only ever usually used proxy companies for proxying things in japan and korea.

edit: also !! its a small-medium package! nothing large, the largest thing would probably be the bag which values at 24 usd or 148yuan

china → usa

hello !! i am looking for a chinese person who will help me store items and ship them to me ! i already have a payment proxy but the person i was using as a caddy is a student (i did not know this until now) and is now not in school until the 23rd of august so i cannot ship any items to her / items that have been sent to her are sitting at the pickup station. im not sure how mail works in china—i dont know if it will be returned to the sender after a certain about of time or if it will be thrown out after a certain amount of time. i am worried about my mail… so i would like to find someone who can handle my mail without issues like this occurring! i will ask her when she gets back to send everything to the new caddy and then continue to send stuff to that caddy instead of her. if anyone can help me out, i would be super appreciative!!

Fear-reactive dog with bite history suddenly dropped off at our house.

About 2–3 weeks ago a dog was left at our house. We don’t know much about her past except there’s a possibility she was abandoned before and may have been kept with a shock collar. She’s only about 1½ years old and is very sweet most of the time, but she has some significant reactivity issues.

She’s already bitten once — it happened when we tried to take her leash while she was surrounded and she lunged at the closest person (my grandma). She also resource-guards her leash and sometimes toys. On top of that, she gets reactive or aggressive anytime she sees people get too close to each other or talk too loudly/argue.

What’s really confusing (and honestly kind of heartbreaking) is that right after she reacts, she immediately switches and becomes super loving, trying to get back on our good side. It doesn’t feel like she wants to be this way. It really seems like she’s anxious and overwhelmed and is reacting before she can even think.

The biggest problem is that she does not get along with our 6-year-old cat at all. My cat is my absolute priority and I’m genuinely scared she’s going to hurt him (or someone else in the house) if we keep her. We’ve tried our best to make this work and accommodate her, but this was completely sudden and we’re overwhelmed.

We’ve already reached out to multiple shelters and rehoming sites, but every single one has turned her away because of the bite history. I’m really hesitant to call animal control/services because I’m afraid they’ll euthanize her.

I genuinely do not know what to do.

dog rehoming (URGENT)

hello! a dog was dropped off at my house around 2-3 weeks ago and we tried our best to accommodate and take care of her, but her past is very unknown and all we know is there was a possibility of a shock collar being used and her being abandoned before being given to the person who left her with us. shes only around 1 1/2, very sweet but the only issues are she doesnt get along with my cat of 6 years and she is a reactive / slight aggressive. she has bitten before and tends to guard items like her leash and occasional toys.

we have called a few shelters and they will not take her due to her bite history and its the same with any rehoming site. im hesitant to call animal services because i think she may be just put down. i dont know what to do from here because as much as i love her, this was extremely sudden and we’ve tried our best to accommodate and work with her but i am worried she will hurt someone within my house again or even hurt my cat.

is there anywhere that takes dogs with bite histories?

edit: i am NOT asking someone to take the dog. i am asking for advice on what i could do / where i could take her.

edit: thank you so so much for all of the advice and also for the support. i genuinely appreciate it all. we are dropping her off at the animal services shelter. i am really sad but this is the best decision for her and for us. shes was the sweetest even if she was reactive. i genuinely hope shes able to find a good home thats equipped to take care of her properly.
