Hello,

My name is Joseph, and I receive SSDI due to invisible disabilities. Due to my divorce wiping out what little extra money I had, I find myself struggling to pay some bills, and I'm also in need of a bed and mattress as I'm currently sleeping on my floor.

I had to move out of the family home, and where I am now, housing alone takes half of my SSDI income with cell phone, internet, electricity, and insurance (car, HO-6, and life) taking up another 25% of my SSDI. So, with 75% of SSDI being used up, I don't have much leftover for food, the couple of bills I need to pay, and a bed and mattress. I've been looking on Facebook Marketplace for bed frames, but would like to buy a new/unused mattress.

I was able to cut my cell phone bill in half by switching to a new provider, and my internet is as low as possible without being massively slow. I am also looking into lowering the cost of my home and auto insurance.

I have applied for energy assistance (12-16 weeks for approval or denial), medical assistance (waiting on approval/denial), EBT/Cash Assistance (waiting on approval/denial), I can visit a food pantry twice a month, but I don't get very much since it's only me as my kids are with my ex-wife. I tried applying for section 811 (section 8 for people with disabilities), but the wait list is very long.

I'm also deferred on donating plasma because I'm on too many medications for mental illness and need to get off two of them, which will take some time.

The amount I'm requesting is $2,500.00 (I hope this is not too much to ask). I understand if I do not get any assistance/donations as I know it's not guaranteed, but I will be forever grateful for any donations received and intend to pay it forward when I am able to. Even if this is just shared with others, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm very embarrassed to ask for help like this as I've never had to ask for help like this before.

Well, for the first time, I actually got it all back.

I just did a run on Blue Gate, and I did all of the Reinforced Reception building (breach room, battery room, upper medical area, and the console in the lobby (party box)) by myself.

I ended up finding the following BP's:

And I went to a hatch, and a player gave me more BP's:

One of the survivor BP's I found in a redlocker that is located past the battery room. The other two augment BP's I found in the breach room and the heavy gun parts BP I found in a bag near the hatch that is down from the reception building.

Well, after learning about Black Castle a year or two ago and not being able to order it because Ferrante Crafts stopped shipping to the U.S.A. They opened up shipping again.

It took almost a month to get to me, but it finally arrived today, and I'm so excited.

Was this a Rat with a Rat pack?

So I just did s round on Blue Gate, and the game spawned me with 19 minutes left. I spawned in the tunnel directly across from the overlook air shaft.

I needed sensors for hatch keys, so I made my way to Pilgrim's Peak, hoping to find some even though I had a late spawn. Well, I get near it, and there's about 15 minutes left, and I happen to see a raider climb the wall (odd and red flag #1) instead of using the steps. Then I see him pulling out an Osprey and then putting it away (red flag #2), then the raider sees me, and I start to back away all the while keeping an eye on them as I increased my distance from them and then they crouched down as if trying to hide (red flag #3).

So I continued backing away, making my way to the hatch near the abandoned housing project when I saw them jump down (red flag #4), so my instincts told me that they were going to chase/follow me so I hid, and I was right as they appeared and looked directly at me as they quickly appeared and jumping around like they were trying to catch me off guard and surprise me. How they found me I have no clue as there was a large distance gap and different levels of terrain between us.

Well, my instincts told me to light them up, so I pulled my Anvil out and lit them up. It took 4 shots from my Anvil III, but in a rare win for me, I downed them even though they were shooting at me with a kitted Bobcat III. Oh, and from the start and throughout this ordeal, they said nothing (red flag #5)

This is what I took off of their freshly deceased corpse. The only things I left were mod components and 5 shield chargers.

The two kitted guns shown in the first pic are just 2 of the guns I looted off their body. In the 2nd pic is everything else that I looted off of them. I looted everything, but the showstopper, as I had already found that. Not shown are another 5 shield rechargers and 2 snap grenades that I looted as well.

This really looks like a rat pack and that they were a rat to me.

What is your take on this one?
