My biggest issue with Freestyle is that my hips are too loose and I flutter kick too wide, creating drag. It's a constant correction, and I blame eggbeater lol.

It's weird to be so intimately familiar with certain aspects of speed swimming, but then be a spring chicken at everything else.

I'm curious, if there are any others here like me, how do masters swim meets compare to synchro meets???

I think because my brain loves to jump from thing to thing constantly, I have a tendency to say yes or offer support without thoroughly considering the impact.

Just now, I found myself reading a Reddit post about a woman in my city who ended up with a bunch of puppies she couldn’t take care of alone, and for some reason I immediately was thinking “hmm I can foster, but I’d need to find it a home before my own dog came back to live with me (my mom and I share custody lol). But wait, I just joined a pickleball league and had planned on focusing on that for the summer. Plus, I already agreed to pick up extra shifts at my SECOND job for the next few weeks after a colleague randomly quit…”

And then as I was reading more of the comments, I realized there seemed to be a lot of people interested in adopting one of the puppies and I was like “oh ok cool, there’s a lot of support here, I’m off the hook. Thank god because I really should not offer …What is wrong with me? I was never on the hook 😆.”

When will I stop??? I have zero boundaries.

Mine hangs really crooked. I like nature, but I prefer when nature stays outdoors while I’m indoors. I have some significant gaps in my door that I’ve tried to mediate, but it’s just not working.
