Z13 in 2026 worth it ?

I’m having to down size my gaming pc so been looking at the z13 .
The model I can get in my budget is the 32gb model with the 8060s.
I’m also disabled so touch screen is a plus for input for basic windows use .

I do travel a lot upto 14 hours on a ferry (7 hours there 7 hours back)

How ever when at home I would like to put the z13 Ona stand and hook up my rtx 5060ti but use the z13 screen , I understand I’ll loose some performance using the internal screen.

My question is do you think this is for me , or should I look at something else ?

Worth buying now or wait

So I had a steam deck, amazing machine but the ergonomics for me where horrible, really sore to hold , wasn’t a fan of the thumb stick layout .

Saw the ally X with its controller style ergonomics based Ona Xbox controller and thought oh that looks good.

But thought I’d ask folk on here on there genuine takes on the device ? Would you buy another?

If I was buying one it won’t be the new x20 just the standard one that’s £900 on the ASU’s store .

I’ll be playing games like David 4 , some Cyber punk, bit of Witcher here and there .

I also have a high end gaming pc that I can easily stream games from.

Thanks for any input

Pocket 4/max with egpu question ?

I know this sounds utter crazy but I have my reasons .
Normally with a egpu you would hook up and external monitor and away you go.

How ever can you just use the gpd pocket or max monitor instead ?
Thanks

Gpd max/mini vs pocket 4

I’m looking for a device where I can sit on the sofa play some games or do pc stuff, than hook upto a egpu and play games on the tv

As a new dad, I’ve lost my desk space, but with my nerve damage, I am also struggling to sit at a desk .

Iv been eyeing up the good mini and max as well as the pocket 4.

The screen design of the pocket 4 is really grabbing my attention.

Problem is all 3 devices are on sale making it harder to choose , I would be going with Ryzen ai 9 and 32gb of ram

Any suggestions or advice ?

Am trying to think of other needs but my main needs are egpu support

Thanks
Ps if I don’t reply right away I apologise. It’s 4.53am and Iv been up all night with the little so might have fallen asleep

Best device for egpu

I’m having to I downsize from a itx set up with monitor to a handheld or laptop setup for sofa gaming than have a egpu hooked to the tv for big screen gaming when my partner and child is in bed .

Problem is I have no idea what I’m looking at , so many hand helds on the market , than we have those mini gpd laptops .

I was going to reuse my Rtx 5060 ti 16gb and pair it with egpu dock.

Any suggestions on handhelds or laptops you think is worth looking at please let me know
Thanks

* I live in a 2 bedroom house that sadly has no space for a traditional desk set up hence the downsizing
