I never know how to visualise this. How long are their tails?? A normal cat can’t even comfortably reach their own shoulder with their tail, let alone the shoulder of another cat across from them. Do they all talk butt to head instead of facing each other? Do they have telescopic tails? How does this work?

Genuinely if someone has a sketch or picture of a cat doing this to another I would greatly appreciate it cause it always makes me pause lol.

Hello, I’m non-Persian and I’m hoping me posting this is okay, because I understand there are far more important things being shared here (if not, feel free to remove it ofc). I’ve just had a huge appreciation for Persian culture for a long time and I would love to learn more about it, since I feel my knowledge is still quite shallow.

Would any of you be willing to recommend any books, documents, videos, podcasts or other sources on your history and culture that you find properly informative?

I’m aware that this might come off weird, so let me start by saying this is in no way sexual, I’ve never even dated / slept with a trans person (not that I wouldn’t, but I just didn’t come across any in my dating life). I get that trans people get fetishized and belittled a lot and are generally treated as some passive object of interest, and I stay as far away from any of those approaches as possible.

I genuinely find transness so interesting though!! Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by queer topics in general (later figured out I was bi, so that’s definitely part of the reason). I specialize in queer psychology in my studies and it’s all so endlessly interesting to me. But trans experiences stand out to me on another level. I truly don’t know what it is, I’m not trans and never thought I was. I just think trans people are very cool and I’m so happy to exist with them and listen to their stories and their perceptions of gender.

Not sure where I’m going with this, I just wanted to share this and say that trans people are great 🤠👍🏳️‍⚧️ You folks deserve so much better than what you usually get from the government and society, I hope that one day we’ll live in a world where everyone can thrive.
