9 month B/G twins are becoming little best friends - making each other laugh, crawling around after each other, mimicking each other - and I love it 🤍
My daughter is 9 months, she stopped taking a bottle around 5 months and we never figured out why. I’m starting to have a really hard time with exclusively nursing her and it’s negatively impacting my relationship with her. We would like to work on getting her to take a bottle again. Has anyone had success with this? Any tips/methods? Is it a bad idea?
I’ve briefly tried a sippy cup with a plastic spout but she had no clue what to do and just gnawed on it a bit then moved on to another toy.
Yes, we are also working on using a straw cup. She will drink water but for some reason struggles with milk in the same cup. Working on that too. But she gets distracted easily by wanting to play with the straw so for bedtime milk we’d like to use a bottle for now.
Has anyone used a riding board attachment with a BOB gear double jogger? I’m interested in getting that stroller for our twins but will need it to also accommodate future additional children. One twin would sit in the stroller, one would ride on the board, and a baby in the car seat in the second stroller seat.
This is the kind of thing I’m talking about: https://a.co/d/0iHmeRdu
I came across this carrier for $7 at the thrift, and I’ve really been wanting to try a meh dai! I watched a tutorial on YouTube but I am unsure about the straps over her legs. Is that correct? It looks so uncomfortable. Also, I have the top straps in what I think is called a Tibetan knot finish according to the video I watched (keeps the shoulder straps from digging into my armpits) but I don’t like how it straps around my boobs and makes them stick out. Sorry, I dint get a good front pic. Any solutions for that?
She still seemed to have a good time while we were cooking dinner!
We enjoy hiking with our babies (currently almost 9 months) and prefer to back carry. This seems like a silly question, but how do y’all carry water with you?? Before kids I would use a hydration backpack, obviously not possible with a back carry. I need to have my hands free so I don’t want to just carry it. Any tips??
Hi there! I’m new here and not sure if this is appropriate for this sub - please delete if needed.
Does anyone have recommendations for animal figurines similar to schleich? I’d love to get some for my kids but they’re a bit too pricey for us.
My daughter is 8.5 months. She stopped taking bottles about 4 months ago, no clue why. For the past few days she won’t nurse unless she just woke up, maybe a little if she is super sleepy before a nap. When I try to latch her she pushes away from me, arches her back, and screams. I’ve tried different positions but I just don’t know what is going on.
Weaning suuuuper early?
Teething? (I can’t see anything)
Nursing strike?
Can there be a “feeding regression” when they learn new skills? (She’s about to crawl)
Does she actually just hate me? (She loves her dada)
It’s sooo hard not to take it personally and every session has ended in tears from both of us.
Just a reminder to check your flange size on occasion! I went from an 18 to a 14 recently and have gotten 1-2oz more per pump ever since I switched!
We are taking a week-long trip to the beach in June with my husband’s family. Our twins will be 10 months (already?!).
- we will use disposable swim diapers for the beach and I’ve already heard the horror stories of putting them on too early lol so I’m feeling okay about all that.
- we are flying there. Unfortunately there are no direct flights so we have a layover but it is what it is. Taking tips for that too haha.
- tell me how to get them to nap! We have to drive to the beach and usually stay there for several hours.
- how hard should I try to keep the from eating sand? Is it a lost cause?
Tell me your tips!
