New to the game. in need of help

As title says. I just started plaiyingthis gme, and this are my current 5*. Which team should I build? The team I ahve right now is the one the game suggested me. also, how f2p friendly is the game if I'm only interested in collecting the characters I like, and buying costumes for them?

Looking for post Cradle suggestions.

Hi, I'm about to finish Cradle, I'm at the two final books and I am already looking for more. I am definitely going to read the last Horizon too.

However, what I loved about that book, and the main reason why I am asking here and not in the Progression Fantasy subbreddit, is that the main reason I loved the book so much is the sense of wonder that it has given me. I read the audiobbok, and maybe the narrator is lifting a LOT of weight, but every new encounter, sect, treasure, additional bit of lore infodump is so well crafted, so well written that it reminded me why I love fantasy so much in the first place. Sometimes I could really feel like I was there, which is something that doesn't often happen anymore. It's not just worldbuilding for worldbuilding's sake, it's the sense of wonder that it creates that I love of that series.

Another series I am listening to lately is Sun Eater (Finished Dregs of the Epire last week), and I encounter that same feeling there too. Ruocchio has a gift for sentences structure. Every new factions (apart from one of which made me raise more than one eyebrow), new piece, is so well crafter that it made me feel like I am lost in that world. Shot out to Howling Dark and Demon in White. even when the story gets dark, and it gets really dark, (if you know, you know), my enjoyement and investement into the world and its misteries is as it peak, if it makes any sense.

I know I am rambling, but I am looking for a particular style of fantasy that I do not know how to describe really. I feel like it's not pure epic fantasy. it's more like a narration style.

Beppu vs Gero/Ogoto and Gifu vs Nagoya

Hello, I am on the early stages of planning my next trip to Japan (November 2027).

Ideally, my trip is still three weeks, and it would go as follow:

Fukouka 3 days (mainly as an hub to explore the area)

Yufuin 1 day

Beppu 2 days

Hiroshima 2 days

Kyoto 3 days, as I still have things to see there and Hikone is crying Justice (it was raining that da and opted for a few museums instead)

Nagoya/Gifu 3 days

Nikko 2 days

Tokyo 5 days

However, I am not totally convinced about the Beppu and Nagoya slots.

I want an onsen experience before starting the temple marathon, and having my Ryokan with private onsen experience (or an onsen that allow you to go with a swuimsuit) right at the start doesn't feel to make much sense. I did find Ogoto and/or Gero much more interesting on that regard. But they look more boring, as in I have to stay there one day, spend the night at the onsen and be done.

And about the Nagoya vs Gifu: I know people say Nagoya is boring, but I went there last year and I loved it. and is a really nice hub too. Going to Nagoya it would let me do a daytrup to Ise, but Gifu is interesting too since I wanted to explore the towns in the region. what do you suggest?

How to split a lorebook?

As title says. I messed up, I have a huge lorebook with over 140 entries, half of which are summaries done with the memory book extension. I'd like to split the lorebooks now, one with the lore/NPCs and one with the summaries and keeping both active at the same time. is there a neat way to do htat? or Do I have to cut hte losses and start a new lorebook when I start naother arc?
