Our new guy, Oliver!
We absolutely love his personality. He made himself right at home today in this very mature cycled 10g. He has snails and shrimp as tank mates. There's also a khuli loach somewhere in there 😅

This looks like it was pulled out of a dumpster full of diapers.
I found this photo and at the time I was so so insecure about it
Today kicked my ass.

Worked Father's Day brunch from 8:30 to 3:30 and by the end of the shift I was taking crying breaks in the walk-in. Every time I thought things couldn't get worse, they somehow did.

The grand finale was getting stiffed on a large tab.

After work I went to my favorite little bar because I needed to sit somewhere that wasn't my house and feel sorry for myself for a minute. Had a couple beers, talked to a friend, and generally tried to recover from the absolute dumpster fire of a day.

Then I got home, realized I had barely eaten anything all day because of stress, threw up, missed the toilet, and had to clean that up too.

Please tell me somebody else had a Father's Day shift from hell today.
Ugh I feel like we're all living in the movie now
Does anybody ever get a little tipsy and sometimes when the song Whim comes on cuz I listen to the playlist constantly it's my comfort... forgive my typing because I'm a little tipsy. I accidentally sang 🤣 "Baby take it easy, when farting something new" I'm laughing by myself right now.
Edit: I was in a queue with 35,000 people on pre-sale for a 16K venue. I got tickets for me and my daughter who is six and named after Hayley. They are lawn tickets and I wish I could get her noticed but it will still be a dream come true.
I'm going to have to sell my ticket if that's the case
Sometimes my lamictal tablet gets stuck on my tongue and it tastes so bad. So so bitter. It's to the point where I've gotten bad about taking it consistently. But I found a solution. Fruit by the foot. I just wrap it. This could have helped me for years now, just thought I'd share.
