He must of relocated to Taber to escape his horrible Medicine Hat reputation.

He claimed that someones dogs tried attacking his. And Global allowed to make these allegations without any push back.

he wanted new laws that mirror Manitoba's that allow service dog owners to get compensation for attacks on their service animals.

The people that interviewed him clearly did not do a basic google search.

he has had issues previously with his "service" dogs failing certification. And even made a failed GFM (which still managed to get over $900).

the most likely thing that happened is that a naive person tried approaching Les, and the dog showed aggression, and Les is trying to frame this as an attack to get sympathy.

This isnt the first time he has done this. Les has a made numerous GFMs and even managed to get one funded at over $10k.

Les is more infamous for his MAID claims where he claimed it was offered to him due to severe poverty.

this claim is highly dubious as he was driving around in a wrapped van promoting his service dog and a charity he called "People For Poverty" for numerous years. This is typically not something a person in extreme poverty could do.

They would like these images removed from the internet.

The second last photo is the person who obtained these items. And was selling them inside penny profit. You can see their profile photo on the top. Then the last screenshot is a a post from the MHPS arresting that same person for break and entering a garage and into a house earlier.

Some of these products were sold using plausible deniability. As they were not reported stolen. So the owners could say they checked the serial numbers and nothing came up (that is not very reliable)

Im in Canada and did a ton of research even looking at various sketchy named brands on walmart secondary market and aliexpress.

Ive owned 2022 apollo ghost previously and enjoyed it until I started having the usual flat issues with the rear tire.

the bolts on the ghost were complete garbage. Some of the softest alloys you could get, And I immediately stripped the ones on the brake rotors after trying to fix my first flat.

I ended up just abandoning that and was able to push a tube inside without removing the brake rotor. It was a complete pain in the ass. The tubes I got though must of been poorly made. Maybe got 75 kms before they popped, and when I looked it was because of manufacturing defects. But changing them was getting more difficult and I was starting to fray the wires going to the rear tire.

So I sold it as is.

of course with my flat issues I was looking for something that was tubeless. The raptor is hollow tire design. So that checked a box. I knew it would be lots more unforgiving and handle worse then a pneumatic. But after riding the diff isnt that bad.

in the $1000 cdn range the raptor had a 20ah battery and dual motors.

Similar priced ones i considered included

iscooter ix7. it was faster due to more peak watts But it has a smaller battery at 16ah.

The Isinwheel Gt2. It was cheaper but again a smaller battery.

Kugoo G2 Max: the 60v upped the speed but it was only a single motor.

Apollo Go: Apollo is a completely different company since I bought a ghost and there is now an "apollo" tax to pay for all its slick marketing. Paying 1100cdn for the go was absolutely not even considered. 36v is not worth $1100.

pros: the scooter is whisper quiet. And I like the improved head unit compared to my ghost.
cons; absolutely no security. No key required and An app that anyone can download can instantly unlock your scooter.

the plastic abs plastic attached to the stem is not meant for aggressive riding. I will be trying to avoid anything but small drops off curbs.

My unit did not come with an usb port on the head unit. On my ghost i had a usb rgb strip that i plugged into the port and stuck it on the stem. It gave additional visibility and looked cool. I was hoping to replicate this but looks like ill have to just put a battery bank in the scooter bag and do it that way.

the headlights are a monstrosity and in a questionable location. But they work.

it isnt a speed demon and capped at 45km/hr, but it is still fun to ride.

Jared brought in Micheal Hayden as his permanent co-host. Hayden worked with Jared at Right Wing Watch and was a writer for SPLC. New hourly long (usually around 1hr 20 min) episodes every drop every second monday. Followed by a bimonthly drop of their who the hell is series, which is a longer format. The last one was over 2 hours. I dont know if other podcast promos are allowed in this sub, but i think if you liked KF you will like the Who the hell is series. The podcast is what you would expect from two guys that worked together at Right wing Watch. It doesnt take itself too seriously though. (the former name shitpost was kinda fitting)
