UPDATE: I got off work early, and went around some more. I found a smaller opening, higher up in the run, directly below where some hens like to roost at night. Beneath that, there are a bunch of smudged 4 toe tracks approximately 2 inches across, and a few more in various places in the coop. Based on this, I believe it was a bobcat, that couldn't figure out how to get back out. Which is how the side wall got punched out ward as should in the images.

Original post:

As mentioned. The coop got busted into, and I am trying to ID the animal.

We heard some noise last night, and went down to look at it. We saw some bright yellow eyes going deeper into the woods. So we set a trap up.

Whatever it was, ripped ignored the trap and ripped a hole in the coop.

This coop has kept out near 20lb racoons, skunks, possums, and hawks ripping at this side before. So whatever it was was very determined to open it up this much.

I am leaning towards a raccoon, based on the eyes last night (as bright and yellow as lightning bugs).

Any thoughts?

EDIT:

Located in Pennsylvania, about an hour south of Harrisburg.

14 carcasses, and I suspect one missing completely, the feathers make a trail several hundred feet.

Not really any digging, but we have a few inches of hardware cloth buried around the base, that usually deters digging.

Let my brother test drive some tanks that I have. He got thesecond Ace tanker on my account 😂

I am not a great player, about a 47% win rate. Only one Ace Tanker badge.

My brother on the other hand, is great. So he was visiting last night and we played. He wanted to try out a couple of my tanks, so when I went to bed he played a few more rounds.

I woke up with a text that he got an ace tanker on his first time using my tank 😂. I only have one other Ace tanker, and that's in the Rudolph, of all tanks.

westinghouse 3ue12vw 3cyl compressor - what to do with it?

As it says, I have this old compressor, it appears to be WW2 era. Spins over freely, not at all seized. I saved it from scrap, but I have no idea how to value something like this. Or to find someone who would be interested.

Any thoughts? Either way it's a really near part of history.

Anybody able to help ID this generator?

I have this old generator from an estate clean out.

I know the guy did stuff with old cobras, because I have intakes from them, and a few old Ford water pumps.

And I also have a 6 volt heater box from an old Mopar truck that we got there as well.

If I can figure out what it belongs to, I can try to fix it up/get it working. If not, it will sadly end up as scrap.

I prefer to keep stuff like this alive when I can, even if it's not really profitable...

Mopar model 62 heater box

I have this old Mopar 62 heater box. Surprisingly, after cleaning the mouse nest out and lubing the motor, it actually operates. It's a bit slow, but my power supply is limited to 2A when running 6V.

It appears to be out of a 40s or 50s truck.

I thought it was cool, and wanted to share. No idea what I am going to do with it. Probably sell it though.

Cobra intakes - Identity and value?

My dad came into these Cobra intakes, And I am trying to o help him get some money for them.

Ones an Edelbrock F4B, and the other is a S2ms 9424a.

If I am not mistaken, they will fit the 260, 289, and 302 engines. But does anyone know what years?

Also, from what I can tell from some research I did, the S2ms 9424a intake is likely a reproduction unit, not an original. Is that correct?

If it is a reproduction, then I am guessing these are probably $200-300 a piece? Does that seem reasonable.

Any other insights would be helpful.

Fire extinguisher refill vs replacement? More expensive to refill?

I have a 10lb 4A-60BC fire extinguisher I was going to get refilled (I made a dumb when welding, caught some foam I missed In the b column on fire).

There are only 2 places near me (45 minutes in opposite directions) and they recommend just replacing it, because it costs more to refill them!

Is this the normal? It seems odd to me.

Also, this is for a garage, I do decent bit of welding and a ton of automotive work. Is a 10lb replacement sensible, or should It actually be bigger? There were some recommendations about upgrading to a 4A-80BC as well.

Last question... currently I have a first alert. The guy I talked to last suggested badger or Amerex. Looks like they are basically the same price in webstaraunt store, so I will probably get a badger.
