not using zio monitor

i recently checked up with my cardiologist for my PVCs and she had set me up with a heart monitor. i said yes because i was curious as to what has/hasn’t changed, but now i do not want to continue with it for personal reasons.

the problem is that she has already put the order in and it will probably arrive in the mail sometime the next few days. what should i do? if i don’t use it and return it, will i still get billed by zio irhythm for wasting their product? should i contact them?

pain on soft spot under chin/tongue

im 19F, 150 lb, around 5’0 with pain under my chin, more so the soft spot under my tongue. i’m not able to pin point it and say it’s in one spot, rather that it’s the whole area. as far as i can tell, my lymph nodes are not swollen.

the pain is sharp and lasts very briefly (always gone as soon as it comes) and happens about once every few days. should i be concerned and see a doctor in person?

not sure if the picture helps.

tips as a barista?

so i’ve been at kroger for almost 2 years and 1 of those years was as a starbucks barista. i was told that we aren’t allowed to take tips since we aren’t an actual starbucks store, but up until recently i learned that there were some kroger stores that allow their baristas to be tipped. i don’t rlly care for starbucks products so i wasnt aware until recently i was walking by one in a kroger close to home.

so im just curious, is this allowed?

edit: i checked my paystub and it says it’ll be delivered via check!

redeem code not accepted

I recently bought a screen protector through best buy and it said i also get 3 months of apple music for free. i tried to redeem it but it says it’s not accepted or valid for my transaction. for context, im still on my free trial period for the month before i make monthly payments so im not sure if thats the reason it won’t take it.

any help would be appreciated

so i work at a starbucks in kroger and i haven’t had any issues in the past w attendance, not doing my job, etc. today, a guy came up and ordered $15 worth of items from starbucks and handed me a $100 bill for it. i was suspicious bc it felt weird, but i know that the pens can detect fake bills. the problem is that the pen said that it was real, so i accepted it. turns out it was a fake. will this cause any severe consequences that will hurt me?

i am a current college freshman majoring in nursing while working part time at kroger. i heard that kroger offers tuition assistance to students up to $21k total, but i also heard that they offer it for classes that benefit them (business, marketing, etc) however, i also know that kroger has the little clinic in many of its stores so i’m wondering if they could possibly cover some of my nursing school tuition/classes as well? is anyone able to help me with this?
