If you're used to Bay Area food does food outside of it not seem that impressive?
So I'm in NY right now and while the food here is fantastic it feels like I already had it before or is similar to what I can get in the bay. I tried Chinese, Italian, Mexican, some local NY stuff, and while it was delicious in my head I was somewhat like oh I've had this before or isn't something I can only get in NY. I don't want to sound like a snob but it just makes me realize how spoiled we can be to have such great food in the bay. I don't know if what I'm saying is somewhat accurate or not.

Stupid Appreciation Post
This may seem like a strange thing to appreciate, but in Sydney your train platform “tactile bump dots” are colorful in a pleasing way. Where I’m from they are a sickly yellow that never seems clean, even when brand new. It’s the little things.
