How do y'all do scene Hair?

I've gotten into scene and starting absolutely loving it and the style, but the hair for me is a massive hurdle due to my hair genetics. I have puffy hair that is kind of curly, but it only stacks about an inch and a half high when combed out. I tested my hair to see how long it would go down if I were to straighten it and have a fringe, It goes to about my eyebrow level or so. I'm unable to do any hair layering due to my hair length. So please, if any of y'all have hair similar to me and have any tips I would be supperrrr grateful. 🥺🥹

If it helps, I am biracial. I would post a picture of my hair but I'm not comfortable in showing myself online

Interaction trouble

Okay back in March I was in a scientific program at a university. Now I love science and learning about it but something felt really off between me and my peers. My peers who were neurotypical always laughed at some really niche joke that the speaker was saying almost as if it was a laugh track on The Big Bang Theory or something and it looked super forced. And then there's me, dead silent I didn't even laugh once and seeing everyone else laugh forcibly made me very uncomfortable. Does anyone else feel out of place in these kinds of settings feeling like you're an outsider of a joke you don't get? Also I'm new to this sub

Anti Ronin deck
