I watch a lot of different shows and some have large fandoms like Hazbin Hotel and a lot of them are adult animation and so often I see posts about how there is too much swearing and in a lot of cases it is true, even I fell victim to this in my own writing when I grew older and aged my characters but Vox Machina gets the formulae right! Seriously whoever is leading or has the say in this in both this and mighty nein is doing it right the swearing makes sense and also sticks to who the characters are like Percy vs Pike for example Pike drunk is gonna be a toilet mouth especially if she’s pissed off and Percy is royal yet even in his frustrations with science will let out a swear or too.
Anyway thats my piece of mind I wanted to share xD

Hey reddit I’ll make this as short as possible basically I need a dermatologist recommendation that won’t judge and is kind and sensitive.

I suffer from HS have been suffering with it since before they even knew wtf it was and now it’s yrs later and I am honestly so exhausted being ignored and treated like I just need to lose weight.

I’ll start here so anyone ready to jump can stop and stfu I am fully aware weight plays a role in HS however I have lost weight over 100lbs and instead of getting better my HS has stopped responding to treatment period.
They go sorta dormant and just come back antibiotics, creams, washes nothing is working and I am trying to get help but I keep landing in dermatology offices with drs who are mad I’m crying and telling me that I just need to loose weight, I’m not even that overweight and to top it off the areas my cysts show up wouldn’t be affected by weight loss for the mist part; I also have some pretty major mental health so its been pretty upsetting apart of that mental health was years of self harm and one of the areas affected the most by this hs tends to look a lot like my open cuts so its also triggering again not helpful to the overall mental health.

So is there anyone who can recommend a dermatologist who is going to be kind and not judge me on my curves right off the hop?

EDIT: Forgot to mention I am 37 yrs old F.
Also when I say I’ve done everything I mean it when I first started getting these I got looked at down at wpg clinic they had no idea what it was cut to a year later same place different dermatologist she knew immediately and also said she was not surprised the other one had no clue as they were just learning about it then. The first person other than that dermatologist I saw with the same problems was on tv and it was the first time someone else had this same problem, I’ve had it for many years, I have done a lot of different things to help, weight loss, diet changes, creams, antibiotics, I’ve been lanced more than I can count have had iv antibiotics switched deodorant’s changed detergents changed clothing fabrics used body washes acne gels, my doc (a nurse practitioner and amazing doc) has done everything he can at the access clinic he is from thats why we started looking for dermatology.

For context I’m 37F with physical disabilities that make it hard to get around sometimes; I’ve not had a normal life…it’s been a rough ride that has left me pretty isolated and alone.
I also deal with anxiety and other mental health and the thought of going somewhere where everyone already knows one another terrifies me…

Anyway is there anywhere in the city where adults can meet others for friendship?

Hello, I was in ECE training nearly finished when I got a bunch of health related physical movement diagnosis’ that caused me to have to give up the career path.
I am curious however, I was nearly finished the course and I know as an ECE I would be a mandated reported but now that I won’t be an ECE am I still a mandated reporter?
I ask as there is a family that lives in some townhouses nearby and they have kids and routinely we all hear the abuse right down to the small dog they had at one point. I have never witnessed it personally as I tend to leave the area when I hear the parents starting to get loud (they often fight with one another as well) there is suspected drug use for sure but as I said I haven’t witnessed anything, however I have had opportunities to and more will no doubt present themselves therefore I am wondering if I should stick around to witness as to then make a call into cfs (to be clear this would not be their first call and cops are often there) but I know a mandated reporter carries a but more weight so if I am not an ECE am I still a mandated reporter that can help by witnessing/documenting and making a call?

I have a friend (22 F) who just let me know she has had a man asking for her number and asking her out for nearly 7 months, harassing her at work as a customer, she has told him no repeatedly and he is not backing down.
Yesterday when she got off work he followed her home in his car (she walks as we live close by) and was trying to get her into his car; she took off and is ok and we are going to walk her home next time she closes but is there anything else we or she can do to keep her safe????

EDIT: a lot of people are suggesting calling the police and though I understand that this is a necessary step and we are trying to get her to do this as well as talk to her work however she is scared to do either she is indigenous and as you can imagine calling the cops isn’t something she feels will be helpful.
