Update 2 on 10 month old Mavis

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to give an update on my 10 month old leopard gecko Mavis who was put under today for a blood test!

they managed to get a really good amount of blood from Mavis which was a relief.

Apparently she took absolutely ages to get sleepy 😭 the vet said it took around 5 hours and even then she never fully went under, so they ended up doing the blood draw while she was basically just very dopey rather than fully asleep. She was apparently “good as gold” throughout though.

The vet actually sounded more hopeful today. She said Mavis’ bone density looked really good on the x-rays so severe calcium deficiency/MBD seems unlikely, which is reassuring.

At this point the main concern is just whether there’s any underlying issue affecting the kidneys/liver that’s caused this to happen so young. If those results come back okay enough then the likely route is surgery/spay.

They’ve also given us EmerAid to feed her if she continues not eating enough insects. She’s home now and very sleepy but otherwise okay after the sedation.
They gave her some fluids as well during the blood test so she’s got a saggy armpit lol.

But overall it’s still looking like it’s Follicular stasis with free fluid but the vet is leaning towards the fluid being inflammation fluid rather than anything infected.
We won’t get the results till Friday but it’s looking hopeful and the vet is looking more hopeful for Mavis’s recovery after today 🩵🙏

Can someone please help and tell me what just happened?

Hi guys, this is Mavis my 10 month old leopard gecko.
Me and my partner are planning on her to the vets tomorrow and she's ovulating and it's been 4 weeks and a bit since she started ovulating and she's showing no signs of laying her eggs.
I was setting up my phone inside her enclosure to try and get a recording of her breathing to check if she was breathing normally and she randomly like twitched/stretched and made this weird noise.
If anyone could lmk what this is that would be helpful:)

10 month old leopard gecko ovulating

Hi there, just wanted to get an opinion on how my leopard gecko Mavis is doing - she’s been ovulating since roughly the 16th of April, from what we can tell she hasn’t been digging yet. She’s been quite active / restless, basking a lot and she loves a good climb, she also occasionally sleeps during the day, mainly in her humid hide, she does get more active during the night as well. Her appetite has dropped but she’s still eating occasionally, mainly a dubia roach or two every few days. She’s been drinking and licking her calcium a LOT too and has also just recently shed today. Is there anything concerning going on visually? Just getting a bit worried as it’s been a while since we think she started ovulating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Skin cancer moles?

Hi again, I made a post yesterday about two other moles but I wanted to ask about these two ones that are located on my upper back.
I forgot about them as I never really notice them.
Can anyone tell me if these look cancerous?
My Nan died from skin cancer so I’m worried a bit.
Thankyou!

Skin cancer moles?

Hello, I'm looking for some help on if I need to get these moles looked at or not.
The first mole is under my chin and the second mole is on my upper arm.
My Nan had skin cancer so I'm worried my moles might be cancerous.
Both moles are raised and have a texture to them.
Any help/ advice is appreciated.
Thankyou!
