Experimentation with early live improvisational Noise Mangler prototype

I'm trying to develop a noise mangling signal chain that creates effective cut-up harsh noise and industrial atmospheres. This is the first experiments with an early prototype.

Next steps will be to increase signal processing with the Octatrack. This is the setup I'm dealing with. I have other modules I can swap out but as you can see I have limited HP in this DIY case. I'd love to be able to add the following features but not sure exactly how yet:

  1. Stereo separation SFX - So sad the 100 Grit is not stereo!!! I want a switch I can hit for separate signal path of left vs. right channels to give a dramatic feel of space. Right now it sounds harshest when I have the 100 Grit AFTER the Endorphins Ghost so it's mono currently, it just sounds so much better that way.

  2. Crossfade between Dry/Wet - I will probably use Octatrack to do this but haven't gotten into it yet - one thing I found out is that you can't assign the Cue output to the slider in Octatrack which fucking KILLS me.

Performing one of my more power electronic tracks live

This was kind of a one-off track I did that ended up on a comp and the retrospective tape box that was released by Black Horizons. Show is at Vancouver Noise Fest back in 2015

Subvert ( https://subvert.fm/ ) launches soon I'm curious if people have opinions on it? Do you think it will be a successful platform? Will it bite into BandCamp's market? Will it fail quickly and never be heard of again?

I woke up to 60 emails in my mailbox most of them about new releases/merch. Is BandCamp Friday even a good day to release new music these days or is there just too much new stuff being dumped on people during that day?
