I originally played the Arkham games on the PS3 and PS4 and for a long time, I rated City as the best. That is not an uncommon opinion I know.

All four games have their strengths and weaknesses but the real reason I put Knight slightly above City is because of the map designs. Yes, the Batmobile isn't perfect but I am not spending most of my game going through tunnels and sewers looking for the exact right passage to find a Riddler trophy.

Most of the backtracking, and every Arkham game has backtracking, is done by flying over rooftops or driving through the streets. It is easier to track, easier to understand and less effort to do.

In terms of gameplay, Knight is a small upgrade on everything that City does. Both combat and predator missions are slightly improved and the Riddler trophies are more varied.

The biggest complaints of Knight are the tank battles and that some of the side missions are too small or minor and I do get that. However, You can avoid most of the tank battles if you want to and between AR missions and the Miltia stuff, you have lots of things you can do to fill the game.

Also, you actually get things to do with Riddler that are not just trophies and puzzles. Also, punching him is satisfying.

Now saying all of that, I have no issue at all if someone says City is better than Knight. It is very much 9.5 out of 10 against 9.4 out of 10. I would give Asylum 9/10 and Origins 8.5/10.

I would rank the series:-

Knight - The most polished version of the Arkham style.
City - A tremendous leap forward only limited by the consoles of the time
Asylum - A true Metroidvania that is a purer game than the others in the series
Origins - A very good City DLC that someone made into a full game

I started watching Professional Wrestling in the late 80s with my older brother and became a big fan of it all in the early to mid 90s. During that time, I was always a WWE/F guy.

The kid version of me loved Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior, the preteen version loved Bret Hart and the teen version of me loved the Attitude Era.

I followed WWE through the 2000s, went to a Wrestlemania in the 2010s and still watch events now in my early 40s. I dipped my toe into WCW, TNA and AEW but it was always WWE/F that I enjoyed most.

So when I say that the product is dull as dishwater at the moment, I am saying it as a lifelong fan of WWE.

Now, I do not blame the individual wrestlers for this. This may be the greatest generation of WWE wrestlers in terms of athleticism and on any given night you can find good promos and good matches. Even great ones. The problem is that it is all the same. Every feud is just the same recycled crap with no actual story.

CM Punk is genuinely one of the best of all time on the mic and in the ring yet every single feud now is just him in the ring with a mic saying nasty things about someone while they call him old or insult his personal life, Roman Reigns is just a long walk to the ring and an endless feud with his own family that is just so tired it would put an insomniac to sleep and Cody Rhodes has spent 3 years cutting the same promo over and over again.

I genuinely like these guys but I cannot tell you of a single good, main event story they have had since Punk finished feuding with Drew back in 2024.

Even Bron Breakker vs Oba Femi, which should be a sure fire hit, is just two guys being pulled apart by security. Just like it was with Oba Femi vs Brock and Bron vs Roman.

I grew up on a WWE product that had worse athletes and worse matches than 2026 but it had storylines. They were storylines that let you actually have moments in matches you cared about. Moments that mattered.

WWE doesn’t have that now. It just has matches and promos and neither really link together to tell a story now. In all honesty, you can ignore Raw and Smackdown and just watch the PLEs and you would lose very little.

I was really hoping Summerslam would be a turning point for WWE but it just isn’t. The product is the absolute dregs at the moment and it is hard to care about any of it.

I was mentioning about Buffy's romance with Angel and her being 16 in Season One of the show and it occurred to me that the Bronze being a nightclub that 16 year old High Schoolers went to regularly is incredibly weird.

First of all, how many parents would let their 16 year old kids go there and why would a nightclub be letting them in?

Is this a common thing in a America? If a bunch of 16 year old kids went to a pub where I live without parents, they would be asked to leave. Even with parents, you would be asked to leave early enough unless there was a function on.

When the universe was on the brink of destruction and time itself poised to unravel thanks to the Doctor's actions, The Time Lords returned.

When Omega was released it sent a signal through all of time and space and the Time Lords activated the Omega Protocols which gave them power to take any and all steps to save the timeline. Even changing their own history and the universe itself.

Now all time travel is banned with Time Lords confined to Gallifrey unless they work as Hunters, Time Lords tasked with stopping the development of time travel and stopping threats before they happen.

Refusing to join the Hunters, the Doctor lives a quiet life on Gallifrey cataloging items from broken timelines and lost civilizations while dreaming of his old life. One day, he finds an artifact with a message from an old friend in need and the only way for the Doctor to save them is to steal a TARDIS and go on the run from his people... again.

Notes:-

You can have the change make the Doctor anyone you want. Want an old Doctor back? Sure. Want a brand new one? Fine.

The old friend could easily be River, Clara, Jack, Rogue or even Rose. Anyone with a reason to have survived an universe wide reset by the Time Lords. Personally I like the idea of Jack and River working together.

Much like post Time War, you can use the reset to ignore any continuity you do not want while simultaneously use the items the Doctor catalogues to keep non-canon ideas and items around.

The Doctor can be chasing down a mystery while being hunted by his own people. It could easily lead to someone like the Master or Romana being sent to hunt him down.

It isn't perfect but I like it better than just erase everything after 11 or 12.

Yesterday I finished RE4 2005 again on Professional with the Chicago Typewriter and the Special 2 outfit so Ashley can't be hurt.

While not a challenging way to play the game, it is really a fun one.

The Rocket Launcher is a little unwieldly, the Handcannon requires some level of accuracy and the Laser is just boring.

The typewriter is the perfect balance of OP and engagement for a stupid, fun second playthrough.

I just did a full playthrough on Professional on the PC Port and I am considering doing a Round 2 for fun.

I could power through the whole thing with the Chicago Typewriter but I am wondering if people have any fun ways they like to do a Round 2 playthrough?

The level of managerial attrition in the Premier League is unsustainable and there is now only one Premier League title winning manager in the league and he only won it in the latest season.

Next season is going to be a rollercoaster.

I recently managed to get the correct cables to make my Pal Region SNES appear on my fancy TV. Previously, I knew the machine turned on by the power light but did not know if it actually worked.

Now when a game goes in, a black screen appears and that is it. The only exception is Super Mario Kart which runs the Nintendo Logo and then just stays black.

My guess is that the SNES is just old and there is nothing I can do bar getting someone to spend hours and lots of money fixing it.

It is a long shot but does anyone have any idea what the actual issue is from the description?
